Fabric Flower Clip

I thought I would share a fabric project today since it is the last day to get the Candy Cane Christmas and the Deck the Halls Fabric at 50% off. That makes the fabric only $4.98. I love both the designs and have ordered more at the half off price. What can I say I love a sale. This flower is made with the Candy Cane Christmas Fabric and the Fancy Folds Flower Die. Oh and of course a Candy Cane Big Designer Button is perfect to finish it off. There is a clip on the back that allows you to use this flower in your hair on a purse or even your shoes. I just cut the two smallest sizes multiple times with the three different fabrics and folded, layered and stitched together. It really only took a short time to make and my daughter wore this one the other day. She mentioned that is was so light she forgot she had it on. If you have a little girl on your shopping list why not make her a hair bow and while you are at it you can also make a matching top with our fabric and a plain shirt. The possibilities are really endless when it comes to using our fabrics. Remember to stock up on the fabric while the price is still half off. Well, I am off to do more stamping. I didn't get the birthday card done yet that I had planned to do yesterday and I have a individual Christmas Card Class this afternoon that I need to set up for. We are seeing our first snow of the year here and I really hope that is stops soon. The kids are of course excited and are hoping they get enough to play in but for me it can wait until Christmas break to snow. Have a great day and stay warm, Tonya

Fancy Flower and 2 1/2" Circle Punches are Available to order!

This is the update today from Stampin'Up! regarding the punches that there were quality issues with.

We are happy to announce that the quality problems we were experiencing with the Fancy Flower and 2-1/2" Circle Punches have been addressed and resolved! These punches will be available for ordering starting on December 1--just in time for the Occasions Mini preorder. This is great news because the 2-1/2" Circle Punch coordinates perfectly with the new Occasions Mini Take a Spin Set and coordinating Spinner Hands.

Thank you for your patience as we work through these quality issues. We'll update you as soon as the quality issues with the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle and Ornament punches are resolved.

Only One Day Left!

There is only one day left to take advantage of the amazing Starter Kit deal. There are so many products that you receive in the Starter Kit or the Digital Starter Kit for only $87.50. I did have someone ask this question though about buying the kit when I said you don't have to sell or buy anything. Let me explain. Yes, by purchasing the kit you are a demonstrator. You have the rest of this quarter (December) then the rest of the next quarter to meet your minimum which is only $300 a quarter. If you decide you don't want to sell or buy $300 over that time you have the next month (April) in pending then your demonstratorship is dropped. Even if you drop without buying another thing everything in your Starter Kit is yours to keep. Yep, that's right you keep it all for only $87.50. So really there is nothing to lose. During the quarter you have all the benefits of being a demonstrator which include our Stampin' Success Magazine, Stampin' Connections (our online message board), sneak peaks of upcoming merchandise, early ordering of new items and so much more. Give me a call if you have any other questions. I am happy to help you and would love to have you on my team. Thanks, Tonya

New Charms for my Necklace

Good morning and Happy Monday! It was a great Thanksgiving break and lots of projects got done at my house this weekend including today's. I should have new post for the next week or so with all the crafting that I did. One of the Holiday Promotion Bundles is the Simply Adorned Gift Bundle which includes the Charming Set, Simply Adorned 1"x 1 1/4" Charm, and Simply Adorned 24" Chain. This is the size of charm that I have and I love mine. Plus this makes a great gift for someone that loves jewelry but isn't really into paper crafting. Well, my Charm was in need of a new winter/Christmas look so I decided to use the Jolly Bingo Bits. On the winter side I stamped the snowflake with Baja Breeze Classic Ink and then stamped the mittens with Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink on a scrap piece of paper and cut out. They were added to the snowflake insert with a dimensional then a Rhinestone Jewel was added to the center of the snowflake. The other side is a little more Christmasy and has the Poinsettia stamped multiple times. It was inked with the Stampin' Write Markers in Real Red, Daffodil Delight. One Poinsettia was cut out and popped up with a dimensional, to finish it off I stamped the poinsettia one more time with the Old Olive Classic Ink and cut out a few of the petals to make leaves. If you order one of the Simply Adorned Bundle I will make a set of inserts for you as a thank you. If you order online just send me an email and I will mail them to you.
I have lots to do today including making three cards which need to get in the mail today or tomorrow at the latest. So I should get to stamping. Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget that tomorrow is the last day to take advantage of the Online Spectacular Sale and the $87.50 Starter and Digital Starter Kit Offer. Let me know if you have any questions I would love to have you join my team of demonstrators just like Carole did last week. Welcome to the Stampin'Up! family, I am excited to help you with your Stampin'Up! business. Okay I am off to stamp. Have a great day, Tonya

Upsy Daisy Laptop

While you were out shopping yesterday did you pick up a laptop? It is usually one of the hot items that is on sale every year. Well, if you happened to pick up a laptop and would like to add a little extra personalization to it either before you give it as a gift or use it for yourself, why not add a Definitely Decorative Design. This is my daughter's laptop that she received for her birthday a few months ago and while the blue is pretty and suits her the Upsy Daisies in white really add that extra flair that makes it her computer. You can also buy raw vinyl and cut out a name or first initial. There are so many choices to add to your laptop to make it your own. The Upsy Daisies comes in Dark Gray, Rose Red, Pretty In Pink, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron and of course White. Give me a call if you would like to see the complete line of Definitely Decorative items or if you have any questions. Thanks for stopping by today and have a great day, Tonya

Jolly Green Quilt

Good morning, well I braved the crowds and went shopping last night at midnight and got home around 4:30 this morning. I didn't do a lot of shopping just two stores. Most of my time was spent waiting for the next store to open. :) I did start my Christmas shopping so that is great. It isn't to late to take advantage of the great online deals that Stampin'UP! is having this week. You can order online and even receive hostess benefits or you can give me a call and place your order. I am going to go through the list a purchase some of the My Digital Studio Downloads, Designer Series Fabric and Big Shot Dies. I love the fabric and am out of the Deck the Halls Fabric and need a little more to finish a project I will share with you next week. Also if you would like to get one of the best deals of the week then give me a call and we can talk about how you can get the Starter Kit or Digital Starter Kit for only $87.50.
Now for the card, I made this card a while ago when I made the other quilt card but I had forgot to show you. This card was inspired by a swap card I received at Convention from Sue Ring. I used the same stamp set and Designer Series Paper but really that is it for the similarities. After I made my card I did see a card similar to this on Josee Smuck so their are other Quilt Cards out there that might look the same. The base is Old Olive Card Stock, with a Quilt Top Note made with Jolly Holiday DSP that has been texturized with the Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I made a Scallop Circle out of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock and stamped the sentiment on Very Vanilla Card Stock with Jet Black Stazon. I used the Aquapainter and the Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Classic Ink Pad to color in the Christmas Ornament then I punched out the image with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch. I added a little Old Olive 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon and the card is complete. This is a easy card to make and would make a great Christmas card if you haven't designed your all ready. Perhaps like me. It is on my list along with decorating for Christmas and baking some cookies. Sunday if you are in the area be sure and stop by my house for my Gift Giving Open House. You can take a look at some gift ideas and do a couple of make n takes. The open house is from 2-4pm so feel free to stop by any time. Well, I am off to start my day (a little later than usual) and get some Christmas decorating done. Whether you spend your day shopping or perhaps having another Thanksgiving I hope you have a great one. Thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Reindeer Food

Good afternoon! When I made this cute little basket last week I had no idea that it would be part of our Online Spectacular. What a great bonus treat. When my kids were younger we started a tradition thanks to my oldest son's preschool teachers' (Thanks, Miss Holly and Miss Kelly) to leave Reindeer Food sprinkled on our lawn to help them find their way to our house. The food consisted of Oatmeal and colored glitter. Well, we have since switched to colored sprinkles to be a little more environmentally friendly but the idea is still the same. I thought it would be cute to make a way to share this tradition with others. I cut the Real Red Card Stock with the Baskets and Blooms Bigz XL Die (which is on sale this week for $27.97) and the Big Shot. I used the same die and the Candy Cane Christmas Designer Series Paper to make the band around the bottom of the basket. Then I added a strip of Candy Cane Christmas Designer Series Fabric ( which is only $4.98 this week) around the handle. I love how the fabric and paper coordinate. To finish off the basket I made a tag from a Baja Breeze Scallop Circle Punch, Blushing Bride Circle Punch and a cute little reindeer stamped with Early Espresso from the Jolly Bingo Bits Stamp Set. I colored in the reindeer's nose with the Real Red Stampin' Write Marker to make him look more like Rudolph. Inside is the Reindeer Food. Simple and the basket is big enough to hold hot chocolate and a few extra's to give as gifts as well. To order all the supplies you can order online from me or you can contact me and I will help you place your order. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, Tonya

Countdown Til Christmas!

Good morning! I am so happy to finally be able to share this project with you. I started it several weeks ago and it has been one of those projects that just kept changing and evolving. After buying the Metal Flashing and making the Message Board from this post. I thought it would be fun to make a Countdown Til Christmas Board. I had several ideas but only a few remained on the finished project. I do like how it turned out and I need to figure out a place to put it in our house. The base is Metal Flashing cut to a 10" x10" size. It was then covered with a sheet of Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper. I used the Big Shot and cut out the Letters with the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Set and Cherry Cobbler Card Stock. The letters were attached with 2 Way Glue. I cut out several of the flowers in the upper corner and layered them to add more dimension. Then I added Champagne Glass Glitter to the center of the poinsettias. I used Crystal Effects to attach the Glass Glitter. It holds better and you don't have as much flake off. For the center of the board, I used another piece of Metal Flashing and cut out an oval with the Frame, Oval Scallop. On the back of the oval I added Deck the Halls Designer Series Fabric that was cut with the Tasteful Trim Bigs XL Die so that is was Scalloped on one edge. The fabric is held in place with Sticky Strip and then a card stock oval was added over the back to give it a more finished look. The numbers are cut out of Magnetic Sheet and Always Artichoke Card Stock with the Alphabet Simple Numbers Bigz Die and the sponged with Always Artichoke Classic Ink and Early Espresso Classic Ink. All the numbers are stored on the back so you can switch it out everyday as Christmas gets closer. The Big Shot was used quite a bit but I really love that tool so I don't mind at all. :) Well, I have a Christmas Card Stamp A Stack tomorrow and while the cards are designed I haven't cleaned my Class room in a while and the card stock is not cut yet. So I had better run and get busy so that I don't have a late night tonight. I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by today. Tonya

Silver Snowflake

I mentioned in a pervious post that I would try using the Snowflake #2 Die to make a candle holder. I had a little free time the other night so I gave it a try. This die is not as easy to use as the Flower die that I used but I do think with a little more trial and error I will get better results. I cut out three snowflakes from the Aluminum Flashing and stacked them to make the candle holder. The bottom layer is folded down, the middle layer is left flat and the top layer is folded upward to hold the candle in place. I also think this would make a really pretty ornament for a Christmas Tree. Just add ribbon through an open hole and you have a shiny ornament that should reflect the lights from your tree. I will have to take a look and see if there are other Big Shot Dies that will work for making candle holders or ornaments.
Today I am waiting on a couple of orders. Stamp Club orders will be arriving today as well as an order of supplies that I need. One is the Alphabet Simple Numbers Die that I need to finish up my Day's Til Christmas Countdown Board. I will try and share it either tomorrow or Monday. I have a few other projects started to share and My Christmas Stamp A Stack is this weekend. Need to starting the card stock for that. I love my job! It is so much fun to play with ink and card stock. If you would like to have a job like mine give me a call and we can chat. I am so glad I decided to sign up over 6 years ago. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, Tonya

Candy Corn Turkey

I have saw various turkeys through out the Internet and I wanted to create my own with the Sweet Treat Cups. With a little trial and error I created this little card that can be used at Thanksgiving to mark each place setting or to just give to the special people in your life. I used a lot of different punches but first let me give you the list of card stock used. Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Riding Hood Red, Early Espresso, Whisper White and Very Vanilla. The stamp set used is Teeny Tiny Wishes and the only ink colors used where the Crumb Cake Classic Pad and the Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker. Now for the list of punches: Two Step Owl, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle, Modern Label Punch, Star Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, 1 3/4" x 7/8" Oval Punch and the Heart to Heart Punch. The Sweet Treat Cup is filled with Candy Corn and there is a Scallop Circle attached with a Silver Brad that is keeping the candy corn in. All you have to do is open the flap and the candy corn can be removed without tearing up the card. You could easily personalize these with each person's name or simply add the Happy Thanksgiving. Are you ready to make a whole bunch of these for your Thanksgiving Feast? Give me a call if you need to order the supplies to make these I will be more than happy to help. Off to do some more creating. I have a list of other projects I would like to try. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will come back again. Tonya

Let's Give Letter Press a Try!

Good morning, I am getting ready to head to school to do some volunteer work but before I went I thought I would share a new card with you that I made last week with our new Letterpress Plates. I have had the Joyful Season Letterpress plate for a while now but had not found the time to give it a try. Well, last week I decided that I should use it before the Mini expired and Christmas was over. I started with a Bravo Burgundy Card Stock base that I embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. Then I used the Big Shot and the Joyful Season Letterpress to make the main image. I simply inked up the plate with the Bravo Burgundy Craft Stampin' Spot and then using Confetti White Card Stock I ran the plate through the Big Shot. Instead of just inking the image on the card stock it also leaves and impression. It is pretty neat and I am going to give it a try again with two colors. To finish off the card I added the Night of Navy Card Stock Panel and then three Silver Brads for the stockings to hang from. That is it, this card was super fast to make and I could make a lot of these very quickly. Okay of for the day but don't forget about the amazing deal on the Starter Kit or the Digital Starter Kit. If you have any questions or would like to join my team of demonstrators please give me a call. Thanks for stopping by and I plan on doing some non-Christmas Stamping today so that I have something else to share with you this week. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, Tonya

Flower Fold Candle Holder

Did you know that you can cut metal with your Big Shot and the Standard Dies? Well that is just one of the things that you can cut as well as so many more. I was recently on Roxy's Blog and she had a video to show how to make these cute tea light candle holders using the Big Shot, Folded Flower Die, and Aluminum Flashing. I just had to give it a try. I used the Silver Flashing, but there is also White Flashing. You can find the flashing at your favorite Hardware store. If you can't find the flashing take a look in the roofing section which at my favorite store is Aisle 50. ;) You need one of each of the flowers except the smallest one. If you have a chance take a look as Roxy's Video. There are similar candle holders with the Snowflake Die which I will give a try later today. I will be sure and post the Snowflake Candle Holders when I get a chance. Also just a reminder that today is the first day that you can sign up to become a demonstrator at half off! Please give me a call if you have any questions about the requirements or details of being a demonstrator. It is one of the best decisions I have made and I would love to help you too. Thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Rejoicing in Christmas Stain Glass

Good afternoon, sorry for not posting a project yesterday but it was a busy day and time just ran short. Today I am sharing the other card we did at club this week. I try to do a new technique at each club so this month is was Stain Glass using Vellum. This technique isn't really difficult just requires some drying time for the markers. We stamped the main image from Rejoicing in Christmas on the Vellum with Versamark then used Silver Embossing Powder and the Heat Tool to emboss the image. Then we flipped the vellum over and colored on the back of the image with the Stampin' Write Markers. The colors we used were Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, and Blush Blossom. Now for the drying time. It takes a while for the markers to dry so we actually did two other projects while it did but with the magic of the computer we can go straight to the next step. ;) Using Crystal Effect we attached the Vellum to a piece of Whisper White Card Stock cut the same size as the Vellum. We added just a few drops at the top left corner and under the sentiment. We used the 1/16" Circle Punch to punch a hole in the center of the star and added a Silver Brad. The Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon was tied around the image before it was attached to the Night of Navy Panel. The base of the card is Crumb Cake. The sentiment is also from the Rejoicing in Christmas Stamp Set and the punch we used is the Decorative Label Punch. The card stock was cut to 3/4" and then stamped with Night of Navy Classic Ink then inserted in the middle of the punch for the interesting sentiment. The sentiment was added with Stampin' Dimensionals and the card is finished. I don't think I would make one of these for every person on my Christmas List but it would be a great card for few special people in your life. If you would like to make this card and need to order the supplies you can do so online or by giving me a call. Well, the weekend has started for us and even though it is going to be a cold rainy one we still have lots of activities. I hope you have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by. I will be back on Monday with a new post and don't forget that Monday is the first day you can sign up to be a Demonstrator for 50% off. Give me a call if you have questions about it. Thanks again, Tonya

Hot Chocolate Gift

Good morning, it looks to be another beautiful day in Missouri. I just love that the sun is shining when I take the kids to school even though it is darker earlier to me the trade off is worth it. Today I want to share with you a project that I started last week but didn't get to finish. It is one that they shared at Convention and I had tucked away for a later date. Well here it is. I found these cute white mugs at a local retail store and decided they were prefect for my hot chocolate mugs. I used the Northern Frost Decorative Strip, Big Shot and Real Red Decor Elements Sheets to cut out the snowflakes. They are so easy to add to the mug. I used many of the various sizes just randomly placed on the cup. In the cup I added a homemade hot chocolate mix, marshmallows, and a candy cane. The tag is made with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Whisper White Card Stock and A Cute Christmas Stamp Set. I have this set in Clear Mount so both stamps were added to the same block inked with Basic Gray Classic Ink and stamped once. I used the Stampin' Write Markers in Baja Breeze, Real Red, Blushing Bride, Garden Green and Basic Black to color in the snowman. A little 2 Way Glue and the Chunky Glitter for the snow and this tag is almost complete. I added a Baja Breeze snowflake also made with the Northern Frost Decorative Strip and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to finish off the tag. I used Real Red Satin Ribbon to tie my hot chocolate bag closed and the Clear Tinsel to add the tag to the bag. To finish off this gift idea I made a coaster with the Candy Cane Christmas Fabric. It was so easy to make just layer two pieces of fabric with a piece of cotton batting between then, run it through the Big Shot with the Clear Scallop Square Die. Hand stitch the edges with white thread and add a Candy Cane Big Designer Button in Real Red to the front corner. Super cute and so easy to make. I think I am going to make more of these to give as gifts to a few people this Christmas. I also have another mug made with Chocolate Chip snowflakes that will have a more vintage feel when I finish it. That's it for today, I have Stamp Club again tonight and volunteering at school today. Plus I hope to get some stamping done since I have a few ideas for new projects floating around in my head. :) Thanks for stopping by, I would love to hear from you so please feel free to leave me a comment and let me know what you would like to see me do next. Have a great Wednesday, Tonya

Fabric Fun!

Good evening, I thought I would share one of the cards we did at club tonight with you. It is a fun card with a little fabric as well as Design Series Paper. The base is Blushing Bride and we added a little detail with the Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. After adding the snow flakes the card was spritzed with the Shimmer Frost White and Alcohol homemade shimmer spritz. You can see the shimmer in the photos. We used the Candy Cane Christmas Designer Fabric to make the ruffle along the bottom of the snowflake paper from the Candy Cane Christmas Designer Series Paper. The fabric was cut with the Big Shot and the new Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die. It was added to the back of the Designer Series Paper with Sticky Strip. The Blushing Bride 1/2" Stitched Poly Ribbon was tied around the card and knotted with a square knot. The cute little snowman is from A Cute Christmas Stamp Set and he is colored with our Stampin' Write Markers in Basic Black, Baja Breeze, Real Red, Blushing Bride and Garden Green after being stamped on Whisper White Card Stock with Jet Black Stazon. We used 2 Way Glue and Dazzling Diamonds to give the snow a little sparkle. The snowman was added to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals after we added the Real Red Card Stock mat. I really think our Stamp Club hostess will like it as she enjoys the fun colors. Definitely a little non traditional and perfect if you don't always get your Christmas Cards out before Christmas as this can be a Happy New Year or Happy Winter card. Well, that's it for me. I am going to head off to bed. Thanks for stopping by again today and I will be back tomorrow with a new post. 'Til tomorrow, Tonya

Be Merry!

Hello! I decided to do some cleaning in my Craft Room this weekend so no stamping got done. I do have several projects started, if I could only finish one it would be great and of course this is club week so I will be working on Club Projects today too. I do have ideas for projects just need to complete my samples and cut out the supplies. So for today I am still working my way through some of the cards that I made for the Stack-a-Stamp. This card was one of the ones that the girls made with my wonderful daughter. The layout is simple but with the watercoloring, punching and Dazzling Diamonds I wanted it to be simple to make. The base of the card is Pretty In Pink Card Stock that has been embossed with the Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and then spritzed with the homemade Frost White Shimmer Paint Spritz. The cute little girl was stamped on Whisper White Card Stock with Basic Gray Classic Ink. In case you didn't recognize her from previous post she is from the Greeting Card Kids Stamp Set. She was watercolored with the Classic Stamp Pads and Blender Pen. The colors used were Bravo Burgundy, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke, So Saffron and the Blush Blossom Marker for her face. There is Dazzling Diamonds added to her coat trim and hat with 2 Way Glue. She is then layered on Pretty In Pink and Bravo Burgundy. The Bravo Burgundy layer has the bottom punched with the Eyelet Border Punch and more Dazzling Diamonds added. To finish off the card I snowflake was added that was made from the Northern Frost Decorative Strip and the be merry was added after being stamped with Basic Gray and punched out with the 1 3/8" x 5/8" Oval Punch. Oops I just realized as I am typing up this post that the be merry is from a retired stamp set. Well, I forgot that stamp the day the girls made their cards anyway and we had to improvise and added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center of the snowflake. I liked how those turned out too. It never fails I always forget something when packing for a workshop and for this one it was the be merry stamp set. Oh, well I will switch it out with a current stamp set and remove the retired set from my current sets. Now I am off to finish a project not just half start one and will be back tomorrow with a new post. Thanks for stopping by and have a great Monday! Tonya

No Big Shot Christmas Card

Good morning! Quick post today (I am actually typing this up on Thursday night) but I will share with you a card very similar to yesterday day's but with no Big Shot. I wanted something I little simpler for a workshop and cutting out around the Whisper White to make the mat takes a little more time than I wanted. So the base is the same Certainly Celery Card Stock with Certainly Celery Classic Ink. Then the sentiment was again stamped with Real Red and punched out with the Decorative Label Punch. The only real change is that instead of the Top Note I cut a rectangle piece of Whisper White and Real Red for the tree image. I only added one Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the top of the tree but you could add as many as you like. Just a little simpler and a little quicker to make but still just as pretty. So which do you prefer? Let me know what you think, I would love to hear from you. Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Sparkle Snow Swirled Tree!

Hello! Well, I still haven't showed you all the Christmas Cards from last month's Stamp A Stack so today I will share another one with you while I work on a Gift Idea Project for another day. This card uses just one stamp set. I really love it when I can do that and two ink colors and for those of you without a Big Shot I will share with you a very similar card tomorrow that you can make with the same supplies without the Big Shot. Okay now back to the card. I stared with Certainly Celery Card Stock for the base and stamped snowflakes from the Snow Swirled Stamp Set on the background with Certainly Celery Classic Ink. Then I used the Big Shot and the Top Note Die to cut out the Whisper White and Real Red Card Stock for the tree image. Now to make this shape you first cut out the Top Note then rotate the card stock 90 degrees and cut again making this fun shape. I trimmed along the dotted lines of the Whisper White so that the Real Red matted it. The tree was stamped in Certainly Celery and then the Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added for sparkle and really every tree needs a little sparkle and decoration right. The sentiment was stamped with the Real Red Classic Stamp Pad then punched out with the Decorative Label Punch and added to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I love how it fits this sentiment perfectly. So with three card stock colors, two stamp pads and one set you can have a wonderful card to sent to your family and friends. This will be one of the Christmas Cards we will be making at my upcoming Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack so if you would like to attend please let me know. I am off to finish a few projects that I have started and my daughter gets out of school early today so I get to pick her up and let you go visit her brothers at school for a little while. She hasn't been able to do that all year and I think she misses seeing the teachers and staff. Have a great day and come back tomorrow to see the no Big Shot version of this card. Tonya

It's A Case!

Good morning! Last week when I was making cards for my workshops I decided I needed another card that showcased the Tags Til Christmas Stamp Set. I decided to look through the catalog and came across page 124. It is really one of my favorite pages in the catalog and I decided that I needed a Christmas card in the same layout and design as the Basic Black card with the Butterfly on it. I changed out the base to Crumb Cake that I embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I used the Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper punched out with the 1 3/4" Square Punch across the bottom and used the ornament from Tags Til Christmas stamped with Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink then punched out with the Ornament Punch. I used dimensionals to pop up the ornament and added a Basic Jewel Pearl and a 1/8" Very Vanilla Taffeta Bow to finish it off. Quick and easy but still very pretty. The Tags Til Christmas and the Ornament Punch are currently available in a bundle so you save money when ordering them together. The Clear Mount Set and Punch are $31.92 and the Wood Mount and Punch are $38.32. Thanks for stopping by today and if you would like to order the supplies to make this card be sure and head over to my Online Store . Have a great day and I hope you stop by again tomorrow. Tonya

Gift for a Friend

Good afternoon! I have been wanting to share my most recent sewing project with you for a few days but I just had not found the time to edit the pictures. Well, today I decided to get the done so that I could share it with you. My daughter had asked for a Scallop Square Purse for a friend and after looking a several different fabrics she picked these bright and fun patterns. This is a smaller messenger style purse with a longer strap that is meant to go around you from one shoulder to the opposite hip. I used 22 sets Scallop Squares including those for the flap. I changed the batting just a little bit and used a cotton batting and cut it with the Scallop Square Die also then instead of cutting between the scallops I left them whole and just washed it to give it a more natural look. I did add a magnetic closure which is a first but was so easy to do. To cover the magnet on the outside flap I made a flower using the Stampin'Up! Blossom Party Original Die and more fabric. I added a Tempting Turquoise Button to the center of the flower then stitched it on the purse. I have added a close up of the flower below. Since my daughter has already gave the purse to her friend I can report that she really liked it and I have request to make one slightly smaller for another friend, so in my free time I will work on that design. Well, that's it for today. Thanks for stopping by and
if you have any questions about how to make your own purse let me know and I will be happy to answer your questions. See you tomorrow, Tonya
