Project Life
Hello and welcome to my Project Life card. Yep, I used a piece of the Everyday Adventure Project Life Card Collection to make a card to send to South Dakota when the older kids leave this weekend on their Mission Trip. I wanted to remind my daughter that it is both the big and small ways that she will be making a difference as they work on an Indian Reservation. I used the Strawberry Slush new Baker's Twine and the regular Whisper White to braid a bracelet that she can wear to remind her I am thinking of her or she can use it as a bookmark in her journal that she takes on all her Mission Trips. The stamp set is the Something to Say Stamp Set and I used the Banner Framelits to cut it out and layer it before adding it to the card. I think it needs just a bit of bling but until later today when my order comes this will have to do. I will add some sequins before I tuck it into her luggage to be found later on the trip. New Catalog Blop Hop
Hello and welcome to our new Catalog Hop. This is such an exciting part of the year with all the new products and I want to share some with you today.

I have the new In Colors to share with you and the 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon in Blackberry Bliss. Besides Blackberry Bliss I used Hello Honey, Whisper White and Crumb Cake. The Stamp Sets I used are Work of Art and Something to Say. For my first card I used an ombre technique which was very easy to do with one stamp and one color. I started by inking the stamp with Blackberry Bliss. I inked once and stamped seven times with the full strength being the bottom stamp and then I added the sentiment which was also stamped with Blackberry Bliss and punched it out with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch. I love the new ribbon I will be ordering more of the colors very soon.
My second card I used the Work of Art Stamp Set and made a background. I added the Crumb Cake Seam Binding and the sentiment which comes with the stamp set and is two stamps was cut out with the Circle Framelits. June Card Sketch!
Hello! Now that June is here I am hoping that I will find more time to stamp. So far so good as I have a card for you today for the SSINKspiration Sketch Challenge. This sketch is great and easy to work up. If you want to see some other great cards for this challenge be sure and hop over to the blog and take a look at the other designers creations. This card features all new supplies from the 2014-2015 Catalog. The colors are Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey and some Basic Gray. I used the new Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack. The Something to Say Stamp Set is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Of course I had to use the Big Shot and those items included the Decorative Dots Embossing folder, the Bitty Banners Framelits and the Circle Card Thinlits. I added a picture of the inside also below as this stamp set has both a stamp for the outside and the inside for every occasion. That is a big plus for me!
