Good afternoon! First let me remind you that there is only a day left to order from the current Catalog. If there is something that you would like to order and you haven't done so please head over to my website and place your online order or give me a call so I can place your order for you. I don't want you to miss out.
Today's project is a Baby Shower Invite that I recently did for a friend. Her sister is expecting her first baby and she wanted invites for a boy. She send me a picture of some things that fit the theme and I got busy making a sample that included blues, greens, brown and turtles. After she approved the first one I just had to get the rest made. I am happy to report they are done and ready for my friend to send out. The supplies include: Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz, and Old Olive Card Stock. The Fox and Friends Stamp Set, a couple of retired sets, the new Pennant Punch and the Word Window Punch, Old Olive and Soft Suede Stampin' Write Markers and the Bashful Blue, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede, and Old Olive Classic Ink Pads. I added a turtle to the front of each envelope also just to add interest. If you would like help making your event special with handmade invites or party favors please let me know. I would love the opportunity to help make your event special. :)
We have another evening of baseball so I had better run. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day, Tonya

New Digital Downloads and A Sneak Peak
Today is Tuesday so it is once again time for new Digital Downloads for My Digital Studio. I need to get busy and make a new header for my blog and start scrapbooking all the pictures I have been taking at baseball games and during our summer activities. Hmm, when to find the time in the day to do that. ;) If you would like to check out today's downloads then be sure and head over here. If you have any questions about how to purchase the downloads or how you can get started with My Digital Studio then please don't hesitate to ask. I am always happy to help.
Next I have a sneak peak and a few retiring products all on one card. The card includes one of the new 2011 In Colors and a new punch. Then color is Wisteria Wonder and the punch is the Lace Ribbon Border Punch and it punches out a strip. You can see just a portion of the punch on this card because I layered the soon to be retired Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon over it but I think you can get an idea of just how big this punch it and how pretty it is too. The Stamp Set is one of my favorites and I will be so said to see it retire but as a hostess set it was of course only meant to be in the catalog for a year. I stamped the hydrangea on Whisper White Card Stock and watercolored with the Pear Pizzazz, Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant Classic Ink Pads and the Aquapainter. I layered the image on Basic Black Card Stock which I think makes the card look quite elegant. To add just a touch of texture I used the Big Shot and the Perfect Details Texturz Plate. I sponged the raised embossed areas just a bit with the Wisteria Wonder Classic Ink Pad and a sponge to show the details even more. If you wanted to add a little more detail you could use 2 Way glue and add some Dazzling Diamonds but for now the card is finished.
So what do you think of the new Wisteria Wonder? I am excited to have it added to our collection of colors. We need a new purple color and this one fits nicely. I haven't used the new colors much but have plans to this week so be sure and watch for more info and sneak peaks. Well, I guess they are only sneak peak for a few more days because on July 1st the new catalog goes live and everyone can start ordering from it. :) Still need a catalog just let me know. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by, Tonya

No Sew Hair Bow!
Good afternoon! I hope you are all well and dry after the storms that moved through last night. We fared better than some I know and hopefully it will stay dry for a while to help with all the flooding we are experiencing.
Today's post is a cute hair clip that I made using the soon to be retiring Table Setting Bigz XL Die which is 40% off until Thursday. I simple cut a piece of fabric and a piece of batting then swirled them and hot glued the end to hold it in place then I hot glued it to a hair clip and it is ready for that special girl to wear. It isn't to big of a clip but still a nice size to get wear in the front and hold back the side of your hair. I think it would look really cute with a trio of these on a clip or pin. You can also use this die for making place cards for a shower, wedding or just a more formal dinner. It also includes a tag which we used on this card. It really is a versatile die that I have enjoyed using. If you would like to order your own Table Setting Die don't wait Thursday is almost here. ;) Well, I have some design work to do so I had better get busy. We have two baseball games tonight so I only have this afternoon to work. Thanks for stopping by and as always let me know if I can assist you with any of your Stampin'Up! questions or needs. Tonya

Sew Saturday
Good morning, it's finally the weekend but with the storms that are moving through our area right now we could see a change of plans for our weekend activities. Maybe I will get some stamping or sewing time in this weekend. Today I thought I would share with you a book bag I made last month for one of the teacher's at our school. This one was for 3rd grade. Each of my boys got to pick out the fabric they thought their teacher would like and then I used the Big Shot and the Clear Scallop Square Die to cut out the bag pieces before I sewed it all together. These bags come together pretty easy even for beginners and are great to have for books, sports and even an everyday purse. Give me a call if you would like more info on how to make the Scallop Square Purse. I would be more than happy to help you. Have a great weekend and Thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Dad's Tee Time
Good Afternoon! Well, I am attempting to stamp today and unfortunately a summer colds seems to have zapped my mojo. So I thought I would take a break and share with you a card that my daughter did for her dad for Father's day. Now really this card will work for any golf lover in your family for a birthday or Father's day. The card has several steps and the tee is hand cut so to make your own you will need to sketch out a tee. The way we did it was make one side trace it on the Real Red Card Stock then flip the template and trace the other side of the Real Red Card Stock so both sides matched. The golf ball is made with the 3 1/2" Circle Big Shot Die and she cut out one from Whisper White Card Stock then folded a sheet of card stock in half and placed the folder below the top of the die and cut out a partial circle that opened at the top. Kaylee texturized the circle with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder then sponged the edge with Crumb Cake to add a shadow. The tee was placed behind the complete circle then the folded card was added behind that to make a complete card. The Happy Father's Day is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and was stamped with Early Espresso Classic Ink on Whisper white Card Stock before it was punched out with the Word Window Punch and layered on top of a Early Espresso Modern Label Punch.
Just a quick reminder that there is only a week left to purchase items from the Retiring List. Please give me a call if you would like to place an order. Also I received another box of catalogs today and they are ready for delivery or pick up. Contact me if you would like to receive one. Well, I am off to try and stamp again. Wish me luck! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend, Tonya

Lucky You!
Good morning! I once again and playing with some of the retiring stamp sets and while looking through them thought that Tart and Tangy would be great to make a slot machine inspired card. Just realized that my card is slanted in the picture sorry about that. The base is Real Red and I used Basic Black and Whisper White Card Stock on the card. The Cherries are inked with the Real Red and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers. I inked the sentiment which is from the Afterthought Hostess Set with the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker omitting the bottom portion. The card front needed something else so it received a little texture thanks to the Big Shot and the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. While I am talking about the Big Shot how would you like to earn one for half price? Call me and I will tell you how I can help you make that happen. It is easier than you might think. ;) Well, I am going to make this a quick post, lots to do again today and the morning in slipping away, kind of like time is slipping away to order these stamp sets. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Tonya

Father's Day
Good afternoon! I hope you had a great weekend! We did but it was a busy one, most weeks seem to be that way. The card I am sharing today was one of the Father's Day Cards we made for this weekend. It includes the Country Side Stamp Set and the retiring All Holiday's Stamp Set. The colors are Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and Basic Black with some watercolor paper for the main image. I used both watercolor crayons and ink pads to color the images. I used the Square Lattice Impressions Embossing Texture Folder to add interest to the
main card. The inside of the card is also decorated and since the Happy Father's Day is one image I inked it with Stampin' Write Markers and then cut it apart before adding it to the card.
Today is the first day that we can hand out the new 2011-2012 Stampin'Up Catalog. If you would like to receive a copy and have not already contact me please do so. I am down to my last box of catalogs and will be reordering soon and want to make sure I have enough. Remember if you are a Club member your catalog will be spiral bound. I have added them to the current club orders that have not been picked up. Also if you host a workshop in July you will also be receiving a spiral bound copy when we have your workshop. Give me a call to schedule yours.
Well, laundry is calling my name so I had better run. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Noel Christmas
Good morning! I know you are probably thinking what's up with the Christmas card in June? Well, the Big on Christmas Stamp set has been one of my favorite sets to use for Christmas for a couple of years now and it is retiring at the end of this month so I wanted to pull it out one more time and create a card for you. The base of the card is Pear Pizzazz and I used Real Red and Whisper White also. The designer series paper is from Play Date. To make my main image I inked the Stamp with the Old Olive, Real Red, Basic Black and Bashful Blue Stampin' Write Markers. I then used an Aquapainter to blend the marker into the image and color it. While this takes a little while to ink up the image with the marker it really is worth the time as it gives your card a different unique look. The Real Red Card Stock layer was punched along the bottom with the Scallop Trim Border Punch then I added White Bakers Twine around the Real Red and tied a knot. The base of the card needed something so I added the snowflakes with the help of the Big Shot and the Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing folder. The snowflakes were sponged with Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink to make them pop and Basic Rhinestones were added to the centers.
While I have you thinking about Christmas I am going to start a five month series of classes just for Christmas Cards. The first class will be next month and will feature 4 card designs. This class will give you a chance to get a jump on your Christmas cards and not feel rushed in Novemeber. More details will follow. Well, it is a busy weekend at our house so I need to get started. Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by, Tonya

We like to move it!
Good morning! What a busy week we have had at our house. Between summer running, Boy Scout Camp and baseball, I feel like it has been forever since I stamped. I hope to put the rubber to the ink today but we have an evening activity again tonight so we will see how much time I find in the day. ;-) Today's card is another Neverending Card that my Daughter made for a friends birthday. The birthday party was last month but I forgot to share the card with you. The base is Tempting Turquoise and it there is Play Date Designer Series Paper through out the card. The other colors she used were all pulled from the Designer Series Paper and include Whisper White, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Real Red and Old Olive. She used a couple of stamp sets including Teeny Tiny Wishes, Circle Circus, and Flight of the Butterfly. There are quite a few punches used including the Butterfly Punch, Word Window and Modern Label Punches. If you have any questions about the card please let me know. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have.
Club orders will be arriving today and Monday I can start giving out the new Catalog to those of you that have contact me. I still have copies available and will be ordering another case soon so please let me know if you will be needing a catalog. As always thank you for stopping by and have a great day, Tonya

Tuesday's Digital Downloads and A Quick Big Shot Project
Hello! It's Tuesday which means it's time for new Digital Downloads for My Digital Studio. Today Stampin'UP! has added Baker's Twine and Paper Buttons to the list of Digital Downloads that you can purchase. If you would like to see the complete list then head on over to here.
Today's project is the last club project we did last week. Orders will be in Thursday for all of you in club. They are coasters made with the Big Shot. In a recent Stampin' Success they shared how to make these and after giving it a try I just had to share with everyone at club. They are super simple and would make a great housewarming gift or a fun way to help celebrate for any holiday. All you need are Cork Sheets, Medium Window Sheets, Designer Series Paper and Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets. I used the 3 1/2 " Circle Originals Die to make these coasters. To make these you need one sheet of everything except the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets those you need two off. I cut all the material to 4" x 4" to start with. You will make a sandwich that goes like this: Cork Sheet, Multipurpose Adhesive, Designer Series Paper, Multipurpose Adhesive then Medium window Sheet on top. Make sure you place the Designer Series Paper print that you want showing up when making the sandwich. Next place the sandwich with the window sheet down onto your Big Shot Die and roll it through just like you would card stock and when you are down you have a coaster. You can use any of the dies to make the coasters to have fun play around with other sizes, shapes and prints and if you need supplies give me a call and I will be happy to place your order for you. Thanks for stopping by today and as always have a great day! Tonya

Teddy Time!
Good morning! It is Monday and today I want to share another card using some retiring products including the stamp set Teddy and Train. The stamp set is one that I haven't used much I think this is only the second time I have had it out and inked it up. It is such a cute little set for baby cards and little boy cards. The other main stamp is in case you can't guess a train image. I may play around with that one in the next day or two, but we will see. The colors are Baja Breeze, Whisper White and Pear Pizzazz. The Designer Series Paper is Nursery Suite. The bear was colored with Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze Classic Ink Pads and the Aquapainter. I made the scalloped edge piece by cutting it twice and making it slightly smaller the second time. I will take pictures or try an video to show you how I did it. The ribbon is 1/8" Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon and I used the Word Window Punch to punch out the Bundle of Joy Sentiment after I stamped it with Jet Black Stazon. Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a great day, mine has been fantasic! Tonya

More Retiring Items
Good morning! It is rainy and overcast here and not the weather we need to be seeing for many reasons, but I am determined to get a lot accomplished today including sharing a project with you. Today's project is one that we did at club this week. It features quite a few retiring items including the Early Espresso 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, 1/8" Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon, Things that I love Stamp Set, and the Baskets & Blooms Bigs XL Die which is on sale. The colors that we used are Baja Breeze, Early Espresso and Pink Pirouette Classic Ink and then Baja Breeze and Whisper White Card Stock. The tag is part of the Bigz Die and is easy to cut out the same time you cut out the basket. We did use the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch to accent the tag too. Really other than adding the sticky strip to the basket bottoms and sides this is a pretty quick project. Remember that these items are while supplies last so please give me a call or order the supplies for this or any of my projects before it is to late. Well, I am off to complete more items on my to due list so have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Love You a latte!
Good morning! Today I want to share with you one of the cards we are making for Stamp Club this week. It uses the Retiring Pun Fun Stamp Set. I used this set quite a bit when I first got it but it has been a little neglected lately. It tends to happen that way, I use a set like crazy when I first get it but then it tappers off when I get new sets. The base of the card is Crumb Cake Card Stock and was textured with the Texture Plates Kit #4 which will be retiring this month. We also used the Watercolor Paper to stamp the image on and then watercolored with the Aquapainter and the Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, and Soft Suede Classic Ink Pads. The image was stamped with Jet Black Staz on. The image was layered on Soft Suede Card Stock and the edge was punched with the Spiral Border Punch that will be retiring soon. We also used the retiring Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper. The sentiment is stamped on Watercolor Paper and was stamped with the Soft Suede Classic Ink Pad and then was punched out with the 1 3/8 x 5/8 Oval Punch which has sold out. I had the sample made before it sold out but it has since then. The Spiral Punch and Designer Series Paper are while supplies last so don't delay if you are interested in purchasing these.

Hopefully today, but I do have new stuff to show you still. Today's card uses the Strength & Hope set that is in the Summer Mini. If you haven't purchased this stamp set I encourage you to do so not only is it a great stamp set but you also will be helping find a cure for Breast Cancer. The base of this card is Baja Breeze. I also used Early Espresso, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake Card Stock on this card. The ink colors are Baja Breeze and Early Espresso. The ribbon is the Victoria Crochet Trim and I used both the Scallop Square Punch and the Postage Stamp Punch on this card. Pretty straight forward so I won't bore you with a lot of details. This set is available until the end of August if you are interested in purchasing it please let me know. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, Tonya

Garden Butterfly
Good morning! Thank you to all of you that came to my Cards That Move Class on Friday. I enjoyed seeing you all and will be emailing out dimensions for the cards later today. I hope that you had a great weekend. Ours was busy with Kaylee leaving on Mission Trip and baseball for all three of my boys over the weekend too. I didn't stamp this weekend but I do still have some cards to share from the class and others that Kaylee and I have been working on. Today's card is a spinner card which means the butterfly moves across the card front and spins or flutters by. The card is pretty simple so I will just give you supplies and if you have any questions please let me know. Supplies: Whisper White Card Stock, Peach Parfait Card Stock, Sunny Garden Designer Series Paper (retiring), Word Window Punch, Butterfly Punch, 1/4" Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon, Flight of the Butterly Stamp Set, Poppy Parade and Peach Parfait Classic Ink Pads, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Big Shot and the Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. We stamped the inside also but I forgot to get a picture of it. :( I am hoping to get lots of stamping done today with some of the retiring stamp sets. Just a reminder that the accessories that are retiring are while supplies last and there are some that are all ready sold out. Please do not delay on placing your orders for the accessories.
Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy your Monday! Tonya

Bye-Bye Bugs!
Hello! We have had a busy morning but I am home now, at least for a little while and have a new card for you. This is another card that we will be doing tomorrow night at the Cards on the Move Class. It is a Waterfall Card with a full inside for your message. When the retirement list was announced I was not surprised to see Bugs and Kisses on the list but it is still a great set to have especially for boys which I have plenty of at my house. ;) The designer series paper is the Build a Bear Workshop Pawsitively Prints which is not only retiring but also on sale while supplies last. For the colors I used Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive. The little pull tab is made with the 1 3/8" x 5/8" Oval Punch which is also retiring at the end of June. I stamped the Whisper White inside panel with a few Real Red Ants so that is looks like they are climbing up the sides and top. These are my favorite kind of ants the stamped ones that don't really move.
Now that I have all the retiring set pulled out I will be working my way through them and using them again before they go. If you see one or more that you need to purchase before the end of the month give me a call and we will place your order.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! I am off to stamp and cut card stock for tomorrow nights class. If you are signed up to attend I will see you then. Until tomorrow, Tonya

Buzzin By into Retirement
Good evening! I got to stamp today and I am excited to share the new card with you. This will be one of the cards we are making on Friday at the Cards That Move Class. I used lots of soon to be retiring items on this card including the Just Buzzin' By Stamp Set, Daffodil Delight 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, and Jumbo Eyelets. This card is fun in that there is a secret message on the front of the card that you discover then you pull the ribbon. The other colors that I used on this card are Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Confetti Cream and Cherry Cobbler Card Stock. For ink I used Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, and Daffodil Delight Classic Ink Pads and the Jet Black Stazon Pad. The Big Shot also came in hand on this card since I used three different items including the 3" Circle Die, Scallop #2 Die and the Elegant Lines Textured Impressions Folder.
The second picture is the card when the ribbon has been pulled the the message is displayed.
The final picture is of the inside of the card. It is all ready to send. If you would like to make this card and 3 others be sure and let me know so I can get your supplies ready. I do have a few spots remaining so give me a call. Thanks for stopping by and have a great evening, Tonya
