Hello and good evening, I am staying up late tonight to get the retiring list and to see some sneak peaks from the new catalog and while I wait I thought I would post a card I made last week for my youngest son to give to a friend. The friend really like Pokemon and I found a cute Pikachu and decided to make my own. The colors are Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White. I used various punches to make this guy and used the Afterthoughts Hostess Set which is only available for another month. If you would like a complete list of punches let me know and I will add them. Tomorrow be sure and check back for the retiring list of stamp sets, accessories and Decor Elements. Have a great evening, Tonya

Another Card by Kaylee
Hello! I hope you are enjoying the Memorial Day Weekend. We have had a quiet day at our house but yesterday we spent the evening with my family cooking out and just relaxing. Today's card is yet another card made by my wonderful daughter. She made this card for a friend that had a birthday over the weekend. For supplies she used: Rich Razzleberry Card Stock, Classic Ink Pad and Stampin' Write Marker, Tempting Turquoise Card Stock, Classic Ink Pad and Stampin' Write Marker, Whisper White Card Stock, Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink Pad, Stampin' Write Marker and Designer Series Paper, Circle Circus Stamp Set, Pretty Postage Stamp Set and the coordinating Postage Stamp Punch, Rich Razzleberry 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Word Play Stamp Set (which is only on sale for a few more days), and the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. If you are wondering how this card is made then be sure and check out my class this Friday night. We are doing a card similar to this one and three other interactive cards. I will warn you though once you make a card like this they are so much fun to play with that you almost don't want to give it away.
Give me a call if you have any questions about the Cards on the Move Class and if you would like to receive a new catalog next month then be sure and let me know. Enjoy the rest of your day and as always thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Wish Big Seeing Double
Good morning! I don't usually post on the weekends but since blogger and I are finally back on good terms I thought I would take advantage of it and share with you. The cards today use the same supplies and are almost a copy of each other but since they were for identical twins I think it is only appropriate that the cards match so well. The colors I used in both card stock,Stampin' Write Markers and Classic Ink Pads are Not Quite Navy, Real Red and Crumb Cake. I also used Very Vanilla Card Stock. I used two stamp sets: Extreme Elements and Word Play which is on sale until the end of this monht. Definitely a great set to have. I used the 2 1/2" Circle Punch and the Big Shot and Circles #2 Originals Die for the Wish Big. The images in the background were off stamped to make them just a little lighter. Really simple cards that were easy to make and would be even easier to mass produce so you have quite a few on hand and they would be great in other colors for the girls in your life. Have a great Memorial Day Weekend and Thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Coaster Box
Good morning! I am still trying to get blogger to work on all our computers but for know it looks like I can post on at least one computer. Not the one with my pictures however. :( The other night I decided to make a coaster box with some of the current Designer Series Paper. I anticipate that most of the Designer Series Paper that is in the current catalog to retire at the end of June and since I have quite a bit I thought I would start using it up. Now of course I could be wrong and it could stay but I will know on June 1st. To make the coaster box you will need five coasters, Tombow Multipurpose glue, Designer Series Paper (I used Newsprint), Crop-a-dile, ribbon and any embellishments you would like to add. The coasters are 4x4 so I cut my Designer Series Paper to that size and glued it to four of the coasters. I then sanded the edges and corners so the paper was even on all sides. I did sponge the top and bottom edges with the Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink Pad and a sponge. The ribbon was added to the sides to hold the box together. I used the Paper Piercer and the Mat Pack to get all the holes evenly spaced then used the Crop-a-dile to make the holes big enough for the ribbon to go through. The ribbon I used is the 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon is Basic Black. The bottom of the box is attached with the Tombow Multipurpose Glue and was left to dry overnight. I decorated my box with a flower made with the Fun Flower Bigz Die and some ribbon. I am going to use this box to hold items in my classroom so if you attend my classes or club you might just see this box. I am hoping to be able to post again later but if not have a great weekend and don't forget that My Birthday Special ends on May 30th. Thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Butterfly Trio
Good afternoon! Sorry for not posting last night. I got busy working on the end of the year teacher's gifts and didn't stop to post. Today was the last day of school and now all my kids are home for the summer or until they are off for another activity. :) I am sharing with you one of the cards we did last week at the Strength and Hope Class. This card is based off of one that was in our Stampin' Success Magazine. I love to get my magazine every month and check out all the samples, stories and off course the sneak peaks. Just one of the wonderful things about being a Stampin'Up! Demonstrator. The card uses Pretty in Pink, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and Baja Breeze Card Stock. The ink colors are Pretty in Pink, Crumb Cake and Baja Breeze as well. For accessories we used the Basic Pearls and the 1/8" Pretty In Pink Taffeta Ribbon. We also used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch for the extra detail on the bottom of the card. Remember if you purchase this stamp set you will be helping fight Breast Cancer. For every Strength and Hope Stamp Set that is purchased Stampin'Up! will donate $2 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Many of you have all ready made your purchase but if you haven't then please contact me so I can help. Thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Hope's Butterfly
Good evening, I know it has been a few days since I posted last but I have been creating and then the weather was yucky so it made taking pictures hard. I did finally get some though and want to share one of the cards we are making tonight at my Strength & Hope Class. This card uses Pink Pirouette, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla. The base of the card is Pink Pirouette Textured Card Stock. I really like how it adds just that little bit of extra to a card and when sponged like on this card it really stands out. All the sponging was done with the Early Espresso Classic Ink Pad and a sponge. The Butterfly was stamped twice once on the Very Vanilla in Crumb Cake and the other time on a piece of scrap Very Vanilla with Pink Pirouette and Crumb Cake Classic Ink. I cut out the second butterfly omitting the Antennas and layered it with Stampin' Dimensionals over the first butterfly. Notice his antennas are back and you don't have to cut around those little guys. The H and hope were stamped with Early Espresso Classic Ink and punched out with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch. I also used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch to add to the left side of the main image. To finish off the card and the butterfly I Basic Pearl was added. I really am happy with the way this card turned out. You can make this card too all you need to do is place an order for your Strength & Hope Stamp Set and Stampin'Up! will donate $2 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. So you get to help out a great cause and you get a great stamp set. Contact me to place your order.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend. Ours is going to be busy with three birthday parties tomorrow. I still need to make some cards. :) See you on Monday, Tonya

A little Garden Bling!
Good morning! Yesterday I worked on a new project that I am so excited to share with you. I have Laura Haffke to thank for the wonderful idea that she shared with us on Stampin' Connections but for the butterflies I decided to do a little extra something to them and I love the results. Now there are colored metal sheets available but I am a Stampin'UP! Girl I would rather use something that we sell or change it up to use something we have. With that being said I did get the metal sheets from a local home improvement store as Stampin'Up! doesn't sell them. Hmm make in the new catalog. I used the Elegant Lines, Vintage Wallpaper, Elegant Bouquet, Perfect Polka Dots, and Flower Garden Textured Impressions Folders to add the embossed designs on the metal before cutting each shape. For the shapes I used the Beautiful Butterflies, Scallop Circle, Framed Oval Scallop, and the Scallop Square Bigz Dies with the Big Shot. Now for the fun part. In our recent Stampin' Success Magazine there was a Vintage Brad that had been heat embossed with Black Embossing Powder and I have done that with smaller brads before to get the color I wanted so I decided to try and heat emboss the butterflies so they would be colorful. I used Versamark and Heat & Stick Powder to the first butterfly before I added the Fine Cosmo Orchid Glitter to it. After it was Heat Set this butterfly was ready.
The next butterfly was made by using the a Rose Red Craft Spot and inking up the butterfly then adding Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder and heating to set. This butterfly has a lot of shimmer too.
The Aqua butterfly was also done with Heat & Stick Powder but this time I used the Fine Supernova Aqua Glitter.
The final butterfly was actually the first one I did and for it I used Versamark and the new Melon Mambo Embossing Powder that is in the new Summer Mini. All the butterflies were attached with Clear Rhinestone Brads and the holes were punched in them with the Crop-a-dile. To write on this for your Garden you can use a permanent marker or you can use Stazon ink. There is a little of the Melon Mambo Embossing Powder in the flowers of the Scallop Circle I was trying another technique but didn't care for the first results but did line the touch of color. This are so fun to make and I am all ready thinking of other Big Shot dies I can use to make more. Now I just need to find stakes for them and they are ready for the garden. Would you like to learn how to make this yourself? Let me know and we can set up a time to meet. I am off to do more stamping. Today's focus is cards. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, Tonya

A Graduation Challenge
Good morning! It's Tuesday which means it is once again time for more Digital Downloads for My Digital Studio. If you would like to take a peak be sure and check them out here. If you have any questions about My Digital Studio then please contact me so I can help you.
Today's project is a little different than my usual. I was recently sent a link to a project similar to this one and being as it wasn't a Stampin'UP! project I decided to make it one. This is a award or congratulation ribbon. You could make one to decorate a baby gift, to give as an award for a contest or like mine to just let someone know that you are proud of them. The supplies I used are Designer Series Paper (I used Celebrations), Card Stock to match your Designer Series Paper (Pacific Point, Bashful Blue, Whisper White and Real Red), Ribbon (Real Red Satin Ribbon and Retired Bashful Blue Ribbon). I used the new Happy Greetings and Pacific Point Classic Ink Pad to stamp the sentiment. Other supplies you need are the 2 1/2" Circle Punch, 3" Circle Big Shot Die, Big Shot, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Fiskars Paper Cutter with Scoring Blade and the Scallop Edge Border Punch. To make the Medallion or Scalloped portion I cut two pieces of Designer Series Paper to measure 3" x 12". I then used the Scallop Edge Punch and punched the 3" side of both pieces. You then score the strips between every scallop and fold accordion style back and forth down both strips. I attached the two sets of ends together with a strong adhesive to make a circle. I then took a Whisper White 2 1/2" Circle and using the Multipurpose Adhesive a attached it to the back making sure to push the center of the scallop circle in tightly and held until the glue had time to set. I used the same method to attach the front circle which is a 3" Circle then decorated the front. To add the Ribbon I cut four pieces to the length I wanted and attached them to the front of another 2 1/2" Circle. I then used SNAIL to attach the circle to the circle on the back of the medallion making sure that the ribbon ends where on the inside sandwiched between the two layers. You can make these in varying sizes just by adjusting the size of the Designer Series Paper Stirps. Thanks Jeana for sharing this idea with me and I hope you all enjoyed it! If you have any questions about my directions leave me a comment and I will answer them. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, Tonya

A Big Wish!
Good morning! It is Monday and I hope you had a great weekend. We did inspite of the cold temperatures. Today I want to share with you a card I made for my Niece's 10th Birthday. I can't believe she is 10 all ready and in the double digits. I wanted a litte different design idea for her card and after playing around a bit I think I found it. The base is Poppy Parade with Basic Black, Baja Breeze and So Saffron added. I used Circle Circus and the Word Play Stamp Set (which is 30% off this month). I also used the Poppy Parade 1/2 Stitched Poly Ribbon across the bottom of the card with a piece of Basic Black Card Stock layered behind it. The Wish Big was punched out with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch then layered behind a Circle from the Circles #2 Originals Dies. The Big Shot was also used to cut out the circle as well as add the texture to the base along with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I added
Whisper White card stock inside the card and stamped some more circle from the Circle Circus Stamp Set along the edge to finish off the card. I hope she enjoyed her card. I know she had a great birthday! Today I hope to finish up a scrapbook project and a couple of cards. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by, Tonya

New Triple Punch!
Good afternoon! Today I wanted to share with you another one of the cards we did for Stamp Club this week. We used the new Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch and the Bold Blossom Stamp Set from the Summer Mini. The new Triple Punches are quite fun in that you get three different punch options in one punch. We used all three options on this card. The colors we used are In Colors which include Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz and then we also used Regal Rose. Demonstrators got to see one of the new In Colors for the July Catalog this week and it is a new Light Purple color. I can't wait to see the other four new colors, but back to the card. We used Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink for the sentiment and the flower Stems. Additional punches that we used are the Itty Bitty Shape Punch Pack, 1 3/4 x 7/8" Oval Punch. The accessories we used are the Whisper White Baker's Twine, the Pear Pizzazz 1/2 Stitched Poly Ribbon and the Bitty Buttons. If this card looks familiar it is because I used the same layout last week with the Fun Flowers Die and I knew when I made it that I would have to try it again with the new Triple Punch. If you are interested in trying out the new Triple punch give me a call and we can set up a hands on demonstration for you and your friends. Thanks for stopping by today and as always have a great day, Tonya

Tangerine Flower Garden
Good afternoon, well I am back and all set up for Stamp Club tonight. I am going to share one of the projects we are doing tonight with you today and another one later in the week. I did a card with this technique last week after I saw it on Song of My Heart Stampers. I knew I would want to try it again when I received the new Flower Garden Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and I thought it would be fun to share with my club ladies. The colors I used are Tangerine Tango, Old Olive, Basic Black and Whisper White. I used the Watercolor Wonder Crayons and a Aquapainter to color the flower image. The sentiment is from the Word Play Stamp Set which is on sale this month. I stamped it with Basic Gray, punched out the sentiment with the Decorative Label Punch and sponged the edges with a Sponge and Old Olive Classic Ink. To add a little interest to the upper right corner I punched with Whisper White layer out with the Scallop Trim Corner Punch. It still needed something so my 7 year old suggested adding butterflies, so I cut those out with the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die using Tangerine Tango Card Stock. I used three on this card and it was just what the card needed. Thanks Jaxon! I added some detail to the inside of the card too and it is ready to mail. This would be a great pick me up card if someone is feeling a little down or is going through a hard time and what a great way to show you care. Have a great day and thank you for stopping by! Tonya

Mother's Day!
Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Ours was busy as always but fun! Today I want to share with you two of my Mother's Day cards that my kids made me. They are from my oldest and my youngest and while one uses all Stampin'UP! supplies (she also let me know they are all current) the other is hand stamped just not with the traditional supplies that I use. I love them both. First the Stampin'UP! card. My daughter's go to stamp set recently has been Circle Circus (which is good since I rarely use it) she combined Cherry Cobbler, Peach Parfait, Baja Breeze and Early Espresso on the card. The Priceless is from the stamp set with the same name and was punched out with the Oval Punch layered on the Scallop Oval and again of the Wide Oval. She added the 1/8" Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon to finish off the front of the card. I think she did a great job and the message inside was so sweet.
The next was was made by my 7 year old and he made this card at school. He brought it home Friday and waited until Sunday to give it to me which for him is a long time. He made the card by using his fingers to stamp the flowers and leaves with paint, drew the stems on with marker and cut out the flower pot. There is a cute poem inside about fingerprints. What a cute handmade card!
Today it is back to the usual schedule and Stamp Club is tomorrow night so I need to get everything ready for that. I hope you enjoyed my Mother's Day cards. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, Tonya

High Flying Birthday!
Good morning! I finally had some time to stamp. My 9 year old has a birthday party to attend tonight and that of course meant he needed a birthday card. He picked a card that I received for a swap and wanted the same colors and layout. The only change he wanted was to make the card full size and to add the Extreme Dirt Bike. The other supplies used were Pacific Point, Marina Mist, Tangerine Tango, So Saffron and Whisper White Card Stock, Pacific Point Classic Ink Pad, Star Extra Large Punch, Small Star Punch (retired), Circle Scissor Plus, Perfect Polka Dots and Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folders and the Big Shot. I hope the Birthday boy has a great day! Today is a busy day for me as it is Teacher Appreciation Week at our school and I will be helping with the Luncheon we are serving the teachers and staff. Then it is off to three baseball games this evening and my daughter has a track meet tonight which I won't be able to attend because of the baseball games. If I have time to stamp I will post over the weekend but if not check back on Monday for something new. I am going to be posting the Strength & Hope Cards for my upcoming Class. More details can be found on my business website or leave me a comment and I will get you more info. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, Tonya

Just a little Fun!
Good evening! I mentioned a few days ago that I was working on a sewing project and even though it has nothing to do with stamping I thought I would share so that I you can see what else I do in my free time. This purse is for my wonderful daughter and she picked out the fabric and I did use just a bit of Razzleberry Satin Ribbon as a trim. It has a magnetic closure at the top of the bag and she has all ready started using it for school. The fabric is prequilted and there is a matching lining inside with two pockets one inside and one out. Tomorrow I will be back with a Boy's Birthday card but until then have a great evening and thanks for stopping by, Tonya
