Hello and welcome to our addition of Friday Favorites. I struggled with trying to decide which item is my favorite right now but this card won for a couple of reasons. One is the Stamp Set. I love the Regarding Dahlias Stamp Set and there are even great sentiments with it too. Bonus! Then there is the fun new to me White Washing Technique which I taught this week. I discovered this technique from a couple of swaps that I received at Convention and I have really enjoyed using it on a couple of projects. I will share another next week. Then there is the color combo which is just so fun and why not add a little velum which I tend to forget about but just makes this card extra special. The rest of the supplies are Sahara Sand Card Stock, Rich Razzleberry Card Stock, Melon Mambo Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Rich Razzleberry Ink, Whisper White Craft Ink, Aquapainter, Argyle Embossing Folder, Paper Doily Sizzlits L Die, Decorative Label Punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Whisper White Embossing Powder, SNAIL and Dimensionals. Don't forget to check out all the other cards from the SS Inkspiration Design Team. Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend. Tonya

I love the Lizard!
Good morning! I have posted a couple of specials that started today so please scroll down and take a look. Also time it running out to take advantage of the My Paper Pumpkin Special for only $10 a month for you first two months and the Pick a Kit when you sign up to join the Stampin'UP! family. Please let me know if you have any questions about these specials.
My card today is one from last weeks Birthday Card Class. I must say that I love this lizard! He is just to cute and I love to ink him up as well as the rest of the Tag It Stamp Set. The Tag It Stamp Set is our Ronald McDonald House Charities Stamp Set for this year so each time it is purchased Stampin'Up! donates $3 to the charity. If you haven't taken a look at this set I encourage you to do so and remember that is coordinates with the Chalk Talk Framelits Dies. That is just an added bonus. :-) The colors on this card are Smoky Slate, Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, Tangerine Tango and Gumball Green. The chevron background was stamped with the Positively Chevron Stamp with Bermuda Bay Ink. This stamp is a must have in my collection and one that I pull out often. I added texture to the Tangerine Tango Card Stock with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and added just a bit more detail with the 1/8" Mini Brads. The main image was inked with the Stampin' Write Markers and then stamped on Whisper White Card Stock and cut out with the Big Shot, Magnetic Platform and the Chalk Talk Framelits Dies. I just love how fun this card turned out and can't wait to send it to someone special.
Be sure and stop by tomorrow when the SS Inkspiration Design Team will be featuring out Friday Favorites. I am not quite sure what I will be featuring yet as I have quite a few favorites right now but I will have a card for you. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Tonya

Celebrate with the Best of...
Hello and welcome back to my blog. Today is Wednesday which means the week is half over and we are almost to a long weekend. Today's card is one that we recently made for a Birthday Card Class that I had. The set is Best of Birthdays which is not in the current catalog but rather one that Stampin'Up! released for their 25th Anniversary. The colors are Pool Party, Real Red and So Saffron. They are fun together and since this card is neutral is will work for a boy or girl also you can use it for other occasions than just Birthdays. I used the 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" Circle Punches for the presents but other than that it is just stamping. It might be hard to see but I stamped Celebrate on the Pool Party Card Stock Base in Pool Party for just a bit more dimension to the card. If you would like to purchase this set be sure and contact me and I will be happy to help you place your order. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a great day! Tonya

Hexagon Quilted Flower
To achieve the quilted look I adhered all the supplies of the flower and then ran the Whisper White panel through the Big Shot I then added the Daffodil Delight Stitched Ribbon and the sentiment which is from the Petite Pairs Stamp Set. I added the Candy Dots to the sides of the Sentiment to carry the Daffodil Delight through a bit more. The only other supply I used was the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die which is where the RicRack that I used for the stem and grass came from.
I hope you are inspired by our Hexagon cards. If you need to order any of the supplies shown please don't hesitate to contact your demonstrator. If you don't have one I will be happy to help you. Thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Stampin' Success Case
Good morning and welcome! It is Monday and the first full day of school for all four of my kids. I plan to take full advantage of my time today and get some stamping done not only for upcoming events but also for upcoming blog posts not just for here but also for the Design Team Blog. Today I have a card to share with you that is a CASE from our Stampin' Success Magazine. If you are not familiar with the Stampin' Success it is a great magazine that demonstrators like myself receive every other month. It is filled with project ideas, business tips and other info that helps us do what we love. This card uses the technique called Ghosting which involves stamping with Whisper White Craft Ink on Whisper White Card Stock. You let the ink dry then you brayer an additional color over the top. For my card I used the Positively Chevron Stamp with Pistachio Pudding. The other colors are Baked Brown Sugar and Crisp Cantaloupe. The background was created by dragging the ink pad across the card base to add ink in random areas. The Arrow and the sentiment are from the Hello, Lovely Stamp Set and both were cut out with the Paper Snips before adding them to the card. The Chevron background piece was cut out with the Deco Labels Collection Set using the largest Framelit in the collection. I added a Vintage Faceted Designer Button with Whisper White Baker's Twine to finish off the card. We recently made this card at my Stamp Time earlier this month.
Are you looking to try some new techniques? If so why not join me tomorrow night at my Technique Class at 7pm. I just need you to RSVP to me that you are attending and I will have all the supplies ready for you when you arrive.
Thanks for stopping by today and just a few quick reminders that time is running out to take advantage of the $10 My Paper Pumpkin Deal as well as the Pick Your Kit when you sign up to join my team. Please contact me if you have questions. Have a great day! Tonya

Framelit Friday!
Hello and welcome to Framelit Friday. I am happy to join into with all the other wonderful Design Team Members as we bring you samples of our favorite framelits. I had another card in mind for today but at the last minute decided to change it up and bring you a Christmas card using the Ornament Keepsakes Stamp Set and the Holiday Ornaments Framelits. Both are available on the Carry Over List. The sentiment is from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set (also on the carry over list). I used the new Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack to create the starburst background design. I also added Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake and Old Olive Card Stock in the starburst. I used three embossing folders to add dimension to the card stock. The first is the Stripes Folder, then the new Pretty Print Folder and finally the Petals-a-Plenty Folder. The ornaments were stamped then embossed with the Clear Embossing Powder and the Heat Gun before I cut them out. The accessories I used are the Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Whisper White Baker's Twine, the Large Pearl Basic Jewels and the Pearl Basic Jewels.
I love the way Stampin'Up! is making so many stamp sets with coordinating framelits because if makes stamping and cutting easy. Please take a moment to head over to the Design Team Blog and see all the other great creations. Thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Birthday Wishes for a Special Girl
Good morning, I hope you aren't to tired of this framelits set just yet. I will let you know that this will be my last post with this set for a little bit though. My wonderful daughter turned 18 last week, can't believe it is even possible but it is and I decided to use the Dress Up Framelits for her card. The colors are Pool Party, Whisper White and Island Indigo. I used the Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper for the card which includes a printed window sheet. I layered it behind the Ovals and only used adhesive where the Ovals would be located. The sentiment is from the Bring on Cake Stamp Set. It really is my go to stamp set for Birthdays. I used the Oval Collection Framelits and since I wanted to dress to be just a bit fancier I used a Tea Lace Paper Doily around the bottom of the dress. I cut the center out of the doily before I added the trim so I had a solid circle from the center of the doily, well by cutting it out with the Dress Up Framelit I was able to make the cardigan for the dress also. I added just a simple Rhinestone Jewel and this card was finished. I think she enjoyed it and since you can use any designer series paper this card is easy to replicate. Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you will come back tomorrow when I will have another card to share with you. Have a great day, Tonya

Garden Flowers!
Good morning, I hope you are having a wonderful day. Today I have a birthday card that is a remake of one that I shared a week or so ago. This one is just a bit easier to make but still just a fun. I recently gave this card to my mom for her birthday which was last week. The colors are Soft Sky, Crumb Cake, Gumball Green, Whisper White and Calypso Coral. The stamp set is Flower Shop with the coordinating punch Pansy Punch. The sentiment is from Bring on the Cake and the butterfly is punched with the Bitty Butterfly Punch. I used the Bird Builder Punch to add the leaves to the flowers. The Square Lattice Embossing Folder and the Lattice Bigz Die help add that extra touch to this card. Which layout do you prefer this one or the original? I would love to hear from you. Well, I need to finish getting ready for tonight's Stamp Time but I appreciate you stopping by, Tonya

INKspiration Design Team Card Sketch
Hello and welcome to our Card Sketch Day. I am always looking for new card sketches and this one is a great one. My brother is turning the BIG 40 today and I needed a card to give him and I thought I would use our sketch. The stamp sets are Bring on the Cake and Gorgeous Grunge (which I am really enjoying using). The colors are Basic Black, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate and Whisper White. For the tags I used the new Circle Thinlits and the Big Shot to cut out Basic Black Card Stock, Basic Gray Card Stock and the new Witches' Brew Designer Series Paper. I added texture to the card stock and of course I needed to use the 3/4" Basic Black Chevron Ribbon too. The circle image was punched out after I stamped it with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch and I used the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to color in the 40 and circle the th. You can use this stamp image to make a card for any age. I hope you enjoyed today's card sketch and that you come back again to see what else I have in store for you this week. Friday I will be back with a Framelit card but I will be posting everyday. Thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Quick and Easy Cards
Today is the first day of our new Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Design Team and I am excited to bring you my first cards. I struggle with Quick and Easy but really like how these two turned I used both the Yippee-Skippee Stamp Set and Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set. The first card uses Island Indigo, Calypso Coral, Pool Party with Whisper White. The great thing about the Gorgeous Grunge Set is that you can just stamp randomly and it makes for a quick and easy card. I used the 1 3/4" Circle Punch after I stamped my image. I did distress the edges of the card stock to add to the grunge look and finished the card off with Island Indigo Baker's Twine.
The second card I made very similar except the colors are Pool Party, Island Indigo, Basic Gray, and Elegant Eggplant. I used more Whisper White which adds just a bit more contrast. I like how the diagonal stamp can be used to mimic Washi Tape, you can even stamp it on Vellum for a more 3 Dimensional look. Really they are just stamp and go type cards which are great when you need to send a quick note to a friend, child or even coworker. I hope you enjoyed our first day of the new Blog and I would love to hear from you so if you would leave a comment and let me know you were here that would be great. Thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Good evening, I had a busy day today and am just getting a chance to sit down and post this Halloween Card for you. The Holiday Catalog started this week and there are so many fun new products that I want to share with you so lets start with Toil and Trouble Stamp Set for Halloween. I embossed the images with Whisper White Embossing Powder and then added Orange Glitter to the Skull Eyes with 2 Way Glue and then applied the glitter. The colors are pretty traditional Basic Black, Basic Gray and Pumpkin Pie. The other supplies I used are Houndstooth Embossing Folder, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack, Basic Black 3/4" Chevron Ribbon, 1 3/8" Circle Punch and Circles #2 Originals Die. This is one of the cards that I used for a Halloween Swap that I was in during Convention. If you like Halloween I have lots of new cards for you to look at and several with this same stamp set other than mine. I look forward to using this set more in the future.
