All Things Stampin'UP! Blog Hop

The first one is a cute little treat container that you can use as a place setting for your Thanksgiving table or that you can simple give out to everyone that attends your dinner. I used the Candy Wrapper Bigz L Die which is currently 20% off on the Online Extravaganze Sale. My second project using a technique I haven't played with in a while which is Faux Mother of Pearl. I have added a second picture below without the flash just so you can see it a little better. Candy Corn Turkey

I have saw various turkeys through out the Internet and I wanted to create my own with the Sweet Treat Cups. With a little trial and error I created this little card that can be used at Thanksgiving to mark each place setting or to just give to the special people in your life. I used a lot of different punches but first let me give you the list of card stock used. Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Riding Hood Red, Early Espresso, Whisper White and Very Vanilla. The stamp set used is Teeny Tiny Wishes and the only ink colors used where the Crumb Cake Classic Pad and the Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker. Now for the list of punches: Two Step Owl, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle, Modern Label Punch, Star Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, 1 3/4" x 7/8" Oval Punch and the Heart to Heart Punch. The Sweet Treat Cup is filled with Candy Corn and there is a Scallop Circle attached with a Silver Brad that is keeping the candy corn in. All you have to do is open the flap and the candy corn can be removed without tearing up the card. You could easily personalize these with each person's name or simply add the Happy Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving Pumpkin

Hello, I had every intention of posting a card for you yesterday but time just got away from me preparing for Carla's workshop. I will post those cards another day but for today I wanted to share the last club project from this month. I had decided to use the Paisley Prints Stamp Set and the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set. I showed you the Christmas Card we made but you can also make Thanksgiving cards too! The layout is just like the one we made at Convention with a few changes. The base of the card is Old Olive and we began by stamping the leaf in Old Olive Classic Ink over the bottom of the card. Then we ran the card through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Then we moved on to the top of the card. On Whisper White Card Stock you stamp the pumpkin that has been inked up with the Old Olive, Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Markers. We used the Early Espresso Classic Stamp Pad to stamp the Happy Thanksgiving next to the pumpkin. Then to finish off the card we added Sticky Strip along the bottom of the Whisper White Card Stock the scrunched and pleated the 5/8" Pumpkin Pie Ribbon. The ends were secured on the back of the Whisper White Card Stock before it was attached to the front of the card. On the inside we added a Whisper White Top Note cut out and stamped a few leaves that we inked with Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze Classic Stamp Pads with the Rock-n-Roll technique. I forgot to take a picture of the inside but I will try and remember to do that and add the picture later.
So tomorrow it will be back to Christmas cards again as that is what I have been doing the most of recently. I hope to start a few new 3D Projects soon and may have a My Digital Studio Post coming up very soon too. Autumn Wreath

Good morning, what a rainy dreary day it is. The perfect day to stay inside and stamp! At least is seems so to me, now if I can just get some stamping done today. Yesterday I mentioned a fall card I was working on well I finished it and am going to share it with you today. Stampin'Up! is great about sharing ideas with us that fellow Demonstrators have discovered and today's card is one of those ideas. Barbara Goetz submitted a Christmas card using the Autumn Days set to make a wreath and after seeing it a decided to make one of my own but I went with fall colors and thought it would make a perfect Thanksgiving card. The card itself went together quickly and it has just enough detail to make it really stand out. I even used one of this weeks Deal of the Week 1/2" Library Clips. Now before I get to far into the card let me start at the base. I started with a base of Kraft Card Stock (102125), then I added strips of card stock in Chocolate Chip (102128), Pumpkin Pie (105117), Crushed Curry (115319) and Dusty Durango (115321). These were just cut in random widths and then the ends were cut at an angle and they were placed on the card. The main image is a Very Vanilla Card Stock (101650) that is cut in a 3 1/2 x 3 1/2" square. I started with Soft Suede Classic Ink (115657) and stamped the berry image from Autumn Days Stamp Set (115452) four times making a square. Then I stamp the same image again with Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink (105216), but when I stamped the second time I rotated the card stock and stamped it at the corners of the square. This step was repeated two more times with the Crushed Curry (115659) and Dusty Durango (115654)Classic Ink each time stamping slightly off from the layer before. This makes a circle image. I finished off the wreath with a 1/4" Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon (109030) bow and added it to the wreath with a Mini Glue Dot. The image was then added to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I wanted to add a Happy Thanksgiving sentiment and I of course pulled out my Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set (115370). This set is an must for me as it has a sentiment for every occasion. If you haven't purchased this set I highly recommend that you do! I stamped Happy Thanksgiving in Chocolate Chip Classic Ink (100908) on Very Vanilla Card Stock and punched it out with the Word Window Punch (105090), then layered it on a Modern Label Punch (116630) made with Crushed Curry Card Stock. I added a Chocolate Chip 1/2" Library Clip (112581) to the left side and tied some Linen Thread (104199) around the Library Clip. I used more Stampin' Dimensionals to add my sentiment to the card. Then I decided the card needed some distressing so I used the Chocolate Chip Classic Ink Pad and simply drug it across the edges of the card to give it a more rustic look.
