Good morning, I have one more card to show you with our new Oh Sew Suite Collection. I made this card on Friday while we were enjoying a snow day. I wanted to use the Pattern Pieces Stamp and use Vellum and make it look like a pattern pinned down to fabric ready to be cut. The other stamp set I used is Totally Tess. I thought the little tiny scissors and the sentiment were perfect for the card and idea that I was going for. The base of the card is Regal Rose and I used the Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I sponged the embossing with the Regal Rose Classic Stamp Pad and a sponge to make it pop. The "fabric" is the Sweet Stitches Designer Series Paper. I also used Crumb Cake Card Stock and Wild Wasabi Card Stock which were punched out with the Medium Oval Punch and Scallop Oval Punch. The scissors were stamped on Silver Card Stock with Jet Black Stazon and cut out with our wonderful Paper Snips. The sentiment was stamped with the Tempting Turquoise Classic Ink Pad. I added a few pins to hold my Pattern onto the "fabric" and a few Pearls to the edge of the sentiment. This card would make a nice addition to a handmade gift or for that seamstress in your life. Today is the last day of the month but Sale-a-bration continues until the end of March so you still have time to place earn the Sale-a-bration sets.
Give me a call if you need to place an order or have questions about starting your own Stampin'Up! business. I would love to have you join my team whether you want to earn extra money or just get a discount on our wonderful products. Today is a busy day with lots to accomplish so I had better run. Have a great day and to all my local customers I will be sending out my newsletter tomorrow. Thanks again, Tonya

Thanks Sew Much!
Good morning! Sorry for the days off with no posting. I have been working on a quilt project and while it isn't ready to share with I will be sharing it before to long. I am considering staring a Big Shot Quilt Block of the Month Club and am playing around with ideas. Is this something you might be interested in? I would love some feedback and input from all of you. Today I have a fun and bright card to share with you. My daughter and her friend had a school project to do on Tuesday and they used a lot of our Brights Collection and while the stamp pads were out I thought I would use them on another Sewing Card. The base of the card is Tempting Turquoise that has been textured with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the Big Shot. To make the button panel I used the Button, Button Stamp Set from the Occasions Mini and stamped with Buttons with Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Rick Razzleberry Classic Ink. There are 17 buttons in the stamp set and 12 of them can be punched out with our Circle Punches. I added Melon Mambo Card Stock to the top of the Whisper White Card Stock and them added the new Melon Mambo Pompom Trim to the bottom of the Whisper White Card Stock. I have been wanting to use the Pompom Trim since I received my order but just haven't found the right card. I think this card is perfect for it. We also have Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight Pompom Trim available for all your projects. To finish off the card I added Sweet Buttons Embosslits that were made with Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Tempting Turquoise Card Stock. These were attached with Mini Glue Dots. The sentiment is from Three Little Words and while I wish it said "Thanks Sew Much" I still think it works for the card. The Three Little Words Stamp Set is available for free until March 31 with a $50 order. Please Stampin'UP! can we have a Sewing Sentiment Set in the new catalog in July. I stamped the sentiment with Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink and punched it our with the Word Window Punch then layered it with a Melon Mambo Modern Label Punch. I dotted the ends to make it look sewn on. I hope you enjoyed today's card. I am hoping to get a few more done today but it is a snow day for the kids so who knows what the day might bring. Thanks for stopping by and let me know what you think about a Quilt Block Club. Have a great day, Tonya

Sew Suite!
Good morning! We had a very productive day yesterday and I really enjoyed having my kids home. Today my oldest is home and we have a full day planned together. I want to share with you a card I have been working on a little bit all week. I enjoy sewing and when I saw the new Sew Suite line I had to add it to my collection. This card is inspired by a wall hanging that my mom gave me some time ago. The colors were taken from the new Designer Series Paper and I used the Tasteful Trim XL Bigz Die and the Big Shot to give the look of pinking along the edge of the card. I used Tempting Turquoise, Tangerine Tango, Rose Red, Daffodil Delight and Chocolate Chip Card Stock and Classic Ink Pads. All the images from the Sew Suite Stamp Set were stamped with Basic Gray Classic Stamp Pad before they were colored. The base of the card is Crumb Cake. The cute buttons on the button card are made with the new Sweet Buttons Embosslits. It not only embosses the buttons but it also cuts them out in one easy step. There are six different patterns that you make with the Embosslit. There is just a little bit of the Sweet Stitches Designer Series Paper on the card. I used it to make the "dress". That is the card for today. Thanks for stopping by and if you would like to see more of Oh Sew Suite line or place an order for these products please contact me. Have a great day, Tonya

Valentine's Cake
I mentioned during Valentine's Day that I had baked a cake for my family for our Valentine's Day dinner. Today I finally had a chance to upload the picture and get it posted for you. I will be back later today with a stamping project but for now I thought you might like to take a look at another one of my crafting projects. This cake is a chocolate cake that we use often at our house because it does not have eggs in it. I had four heart shaped pans and I baked one batch of cake batter. I used Chocolate frosting on the bottom two layers (they are the same size) and I made pink icing for the top to layers and added a few Valentine Sprinkles. My family loved it and it sure didn't last long with everyone eating it. :) I hope you are having a great day. The kids are home so we are all busy working on projects that are on our To Do List. Thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Good afternoon, I thought I would share some Sale-a-bration fun by showing you the extra greeting that comes on our Stampin'Up! boxes during Sale-a-bration. A few More Petal Cones
Good afternoon, I wanted to share a few more of the petal cone projects that we made for Valentine's Day. These were more gifts for the teachers and are similar to the previous one I showed you except we closed them into the cone shape. I provided a close up of the flowers. You can see the shimmer in them and they are so much fun to make. I really love how they turned out. I am currently working on a card that is almost finished and will be ready to show soon. The warm weather is making a tough to stay inside, so projects are taking a little longer.
Don't forget that there is still time to schedule your Sale-a-bration workshop or to place your order and receive the a free stamp set. Just give me a call. Sorry this is short but I have tax info to get ready too and while I don't enjoy getting it together it does have to be done. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend, Tonya

Explore Your Creativity with Stampin' Up!
I thought I would share this video that Shelli posted on You Tube. There are so many things to love about Stampin'Up! I started using their products because of the color matching system and I became a demonstrator to get a discount on the stamp sets, card stock and ink that I was buying so much of. I never dreamed that I would love teaching and sharing Stampin'Up! with others like I do. If you would like any information about Stampin'Up! please give me a call. I would love to share it with you.

Petal Cone Treat
Good morning! Today is a less busy day for our family and I hope to get some stamping time in before the kids get out of school. I do still have a few projects to share with you from yesterday and our busy weekend of creating. This treat container was for one of my sons' teachers and it was inspired by the February Stampin' Success. Stampin' Success is a great magazine that all demonstrators receive each month with ideas and business tips. Don't forget that Sale-a-bration is a great time to start your own Stampin'UP! business. Okay back to the treat. I used the Petal Cone Die and cut it out in Riding Hood Red and the half scallops in Early Espresso. I used Sticky Strip to adhere the two sides but instead of making it a cone I left it flat and made this cute heart. I stamped a heart from the I {heart} Hearts Stamp Set in Riding Hood Red and cut it out by hand before attaching it to the Petal Cone with Stampin' Dimensionals. The Happy Valentine's Day is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set and was stamped with Early Espresso on Very Vanilla Card Stock then punched out with the Word Window Punch. To add a little extra wow to the Petal Cone I made a flower from Pink Pirouette Card Stock and the Scallop Circle #2 Die. I cut out four of the larger Scallop Circle and then sprayed each with Shimmer Mist (made with Shimmer Paint and Rubbing Alcohol)

More Valentine's Day Treats
Good evening, I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day. We had a busy evening but it was a fun one. For dinner I made a few heart shaped treats for the family including biscuits and chocolate cake. I will share a picture of the cake at a later date. Tonight I have my older kids Valentine's Day treats. For my son's treats we used the Eat Chocolate Stamp Set and the Two Tags Die. We made the tags out of Real Red Card Stock then stamped the so much chocolate so little time sentiment on Whisper White Card Stock with Early Espresso Classic Stamp Pad. He stamped the Medium Cello Bags with White Stazon with various hearts from the I {heart} hearts stamp set and tied the tag on with Crochet Thread. I didn't get a picture but I also colored the ends of the chocolate bar with our Silver Fox Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink. I really like how it made the chocolate bar look more like a real chocolate bar.
Now that my daughter is in high school she doesn't take Valentine's Treats for her whole class. I can't image how long that would take. :) She did want to make a few treats for some special friends. She used the Candy Wrapper Die which was in the Holiday Mini but is still available to purchase. She cut them from Regal Rose Card Stock then used the I {heart} heart stamp set in Melon Mambo, Real Red, and Regal Rose. She used Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon to tie here Candy Wrappers shut after adding some chocolate. I think her friends enjoyed them. I still have more Valentine's Day projects to share with you but I will share those another day. Enjoy the rest of your Valentine's day and I will post again tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Class Valentine's!
Good morning, what a busy weekend it was at our house as I am sure it was for many families. We spent the weekend finishing up Valentine's Day treats for classmates. I am going to share my two youngest boys Valentine's Day treats now and will share what my older kids made later. First up is Jacob's. He is in 3rd grade and wanted something a little more cool for his class. For his he wanted the Bitty Box cut out with the Big Shot in Real Red and Melon Mambo. Then he used the stamp set Friends Rock and we stamped the You Rock! on Whisper White Card Stock with Basic Gray Classic Ink. He colored each with the Watercolor Pencils. He added Tempting Turquoise and Rich Razzleberry behind the Whisper White Card Stock then attached them to the top of the box. Each box contains a bag of Sweethearts candies. He signed his name either on the side or bottom.
Next is Jaxon's Valentine's Day project. He wanted to give his friends pencils as well as candy so his incorporates both. We used the Petal Card Die which is retired (sorry) and cut them out Real Red and Melon Mambo. Each petal card was made into a heart by folding back the bottom pieces and gluing them with Tombow. This created a pocket on the back that we put the skittles in. I cut the tip off of the heart and slid the pencil in. Each heart was decorated with either a boy or girl Build a Bear from the Beary Best Friends Stamp Set. Jaxon colored each bear with the Watercolor Pencils and then a used the Aquapainter to blend the pencils. We used the I {heart} hearts Stamp Set to stamp the Friend Heart in either Real Red or Melon Mambo that each of the bears is holding. The hearts were punched out with the Full Heart Punch. He signed his name after I took the picture on the top of the heart. Both boys were happy with the way their Valentine's turned out. We also made treats for their teachers but that will also have to wait for another time as I have a chocolate cake to bake for my family for our Valentine's day dinner. I am making it heart shaped since they love chocolate cake! Have a great Valentine's Day and thanks for stopping by, Tonya

I miss the Sun!
Good morning, what a morning it has been at our house and it isn't even 8am yet, but instead of boring you with the details why don't I share with you a card we made at Jennifer's workshop last week. I know that I have shared several other Build a Blossom Cards with you but I really love this set and can't help sharing it with others whenever I am stamping with a new group of people and since it is a bright cheering Daffodil Delight color it makes be smile on this not so bright and sunny day. I do have hope that we will be seeing the sun soon and warmer temperatures. The rest of the supplies for the card are Old Olive Card Stock and Classic Stamp Pad, Daffodil Delight Card Stock and Classic Stamp Pad, Whisper White Card Stock, Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set, Blossoms Petal Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Build a Brad, Word Window Punch, Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the Big Shot. It looks like a lot of supplies but really the card goes together really quickly with the Blossom Petal Punch and it is a great card to cheer up someone in your life. Have you sent a handmade card recently just because? If not why don't you make a few and send them I know the people that receives them will be happy you did. Well, I am off to get the boys to school and start my day. Hope you have a great one and thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Country Side!
Good evening! Tonight was Stamp Club night and I am going to share one of the cards that we did. I recently bought the Country Side Stamp Set. I wanted to get my Watercolor Wonder Crayons out and this is the perfect set. We stamped with pump image with Jet Black Stazon on Watercolor Paper then colored the image with the Aquapainter and the Basic Gray, Chocolate Chip, Garden Green and Old Olive Watercolor Crayons. The watercolor paper is a little more forgiving when coloring and allows you to play with your coloring a little more than traditional Whisper White or Very Vanilla Card Stock. The background is made with the Weathered Texture Plate and the Chocolate Chip Classic Stamp Pad. All you need to do is ink up the Texture Plate with the Classic Stamp Pad then add your card stock (Crumb Cake for this card) then run your Texture Plate through like usual. The base is Chocolate Chip, there is a strip of Woodland Walk Designer Series Paper. The Watercolor Paper is layer on Garden Green then layered on another layer of Chocolate Chip Card Stock, we added the Thinking of you sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set. It was stamped on Very Vanilla Card with Chocolate Chip Classic Ink and punched out with the Word Window Punch. We also added Very Vanilla Card Stock to the inside with a small strip of Garden Green Card Stock across the bottom. There is a little paper piercing on the card at the top corner of the Designer Series Paper and the Very Vanilla on the inside of the card.
Tomorrow night is our second night of Club and we will be making this card again. If you would be interesting in learning more about Watercoloring contact me and we can set up a class time.
I hope you enjoyed today's card! Thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Springtime Pin Cushion
Good morning! This is going to be a super quick post. I wanted to let you know that I am still around. ;) I just had a busy weekend and didn't find time to post. Friday night I had a workshop with Jennifer and her friends. I had a great time and I sure hope they did too! Saturday morning it was Valentine's with the kids. I love how creative kids can be when you give them some supplies and let them use their imaginations. This week is Stamp Club week. We will be having Club on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7pm. I will be finishing up those projects today and will be posting them through out the week, but today I wanted to show you a quick pin cushion that I made over the snow days. There have been examples of these and I really can't say where I have saw them but I recently received the Springtime Vintage Fabric and I just had to cut it. I had a old jelly jar in my cabinet with a ring and lid so I was ready to make my pin cushion. I cut the fabric with the Scallop Circle Big Die and the Big Shot. I added some cotton balls for stuffing (couldn't find any polyfill in the house) and just attached the fabric with the ring. I did add a package of Springtime Vintage Big Designer Series Buttons to the jar for added color and interest. Quick and easy! It would make a nice gift for a person who likes to quilt or sew. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, Tonya

Greeting Card Valentine!
Good morning! Another snow day at our house. I am not sure what we will do when we finally have to go back to school but I guess we will just have to wait and see when that it. I am going to be working on Valentine's ideas with my boys so maybe we can get their cards/treats ready or at least planned out. I made this card yesterday and I know the picture isn't the best but the lighting was not the greatest when I took the pictures. I may try again later today when there is more sun shine and if I get a better picture I will update. I know that I have mentioned it before but I really love the Greeting Card Kids Stamp Set and have used all the images. It is a fun set to color whether it be with Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Aquapainters, Reinkers or Blender Pens. I stamped the image on Watercolor Paper with the Basic Gray Classic Stampin' Pad. This image was colored with Blender Pens and the Classic Stampin' Pads. I used Pretty In Pink, Rich Razzleberry, Chocolate Chip Classic Stampin' Pads and the Blush Blossom Stampin' Write Marker. The base of the card is Crumb Cake (that was texturized with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder) and I also used Pretty in Pink Card Stock as well as Rich Razzleberry Designer Series Pattern Paper. The Pretty in Pink was punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I also used Dazzling Diamonds, 2 Way Glue, Rich Razzleberry 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Victoria Crochet Trim, and a Rhinestone Brad. The sentiment is from the retired Filled with Love Stamp Set. All supplies are of course from Stampin'UP! and can be purchased through me or your local demonstrator. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, Tonya

Fun with Felt!
Well, today was day 3 with no school for this week and we all ready know that there is no school tomorrow. I am enjoying sleeping in but really don't want to think about how many days the kids will have to go extra to make all the snow days up. Today I have a fun winter snow day project. I think my boys are past the age to play with the felt board but for those of you with younger kids this would be a great way to get their minds and hands busy when they can't be at school or outside. I used the Build a Bear Dies and the Big Shot to cut out the various pieces of felt. I have a felt board that I use to display my cards when I have workshops and it is perfect for using with the Build a Bears. Each piece is separate and can be removed and changed to give the bears a completely new look. The girl bear also has a pair of light purple pants that match her shirt. I think my little boy needs a jacket and some other accessories too. Need to make some more. I can also make them costumes for Halloween and Christmas not that we need those for a day or two. Thanks for stopping by. I have been busy today with a couple of other projects so be sure and stop by tomorrow when I will have a Valentine's day post for you. Tonya

Bliss Card
Hello, what a yucky day it is! I was supposed to have a workshop tonight in Mound City but the hostess and I have decided to postpone it to a later day. My kids are busy playing on the Wii so I thought I would share a card with you that uses the Sale-a-bration Stamp Set Bliss. I really liked this set when I first saw it and now that I have it at my house I really love it! My favorite image is the biggest one that I used on the background. It is so easy to line up to make the background and it is big enough to stand on its own too. There are a lot of details on this card so I will just give you a supply list. Crumb Cake Card Stock and Classic Stampin' Pad, Early Espresso Card Stock and Classic Stampin' Pad, Pretty in Pink Card Stock and Classic Stampin' Pad, Rich Razzleberry Classic Stampin' Pad and 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Chantilly 1/2" Crochet Trim, Basic Pearl Jewels, Lots of Tags Sizzlits Dies, and the Decorative Label Punch. If you place an order with me this month then this will be your Thank you card. I may change up the colors a bit but the design will be the same.
I want to thank all of you that came to the Birthday Card Class over the weekend. It was big success. We make over 120 cards in the two day period and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. I am working on a couple of classes for this month and next so be sure and watch for updates. If you are local and have a class you would like to see me hold let me know and I will try and accommodate your request.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you are home safe and warm. If you have to get out please be careful. Off to do some more stamping! Tonya
