Hexagon Quilted Flower

Hello and thanks for stopping by! Whether you came here from our SS Inkspiration Blog or you came directly here I am glad you did and would love to hear from you. Today the members of our Design Team are featuring Hexagons. For me that meant pulling out the Six-Sided Sampler Stamp Set, Hexagon Punch and the Honeycomb Embossing folder. I decided to make a card for my Mother-in-Law's upcoming Birthday. She does quilting and I thought a quilt card would be nice and fun. The hexagon flower quilt is a common pattern and I wanted it bright and cheery. I used Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzazz for my color combo add in the Whisper White and this card is super fun.
To achieve the quilted look I adhered all the supplies of the flower and then ran the Whisper White panel through the Big Shot I then added the Daffodil Delight Stitched Ribbon and the sentiment which is from the Petite Pairs Stamp Set. I added the Candy Dots to the sides of the Sentiment to carry the Daffodil Delight through a bit more. The only other supply I used was the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die which is where the RicRack that I used for the stem and grass came from.
I hope you are inspired by our Hexagon cards. If you need to order any of the supplies shown please don't hesitate to contact your demonstrator. If you don't have one I will be happy to help you. Thanks for stopping by, Tonya
