Friday Favorite~Blendabilities

Good morning it is Friday Favorites time and I love to color so my favorite is the Blendablities and you can get them free during Saleabration which makes them even better. I used the Regarding Dahlia Stamp Set and the Marina Mist and Pink Pirouette Blendabitlies to make this card. I also added some Vellum to soften the Basic Black Background. For Big Shot items I used the Circle Framelits, Banner Framelits, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and the Darling Doily Framelit. I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by, Tonya

February Blog Hop

This month is all about Hearts and the Design Team has decided to dedicate this month's Blog Hop to hearts as well. I decided to give my projects just a hint of hearts.
The first card uses the stamp set Sheltering Tree and with the sentiment you warm my heart it makes a perfect Valentine's Day or just a your special to me card. I added the In Color Heart Sequins to the tree just for a bit of color and to tie in the heart theme. The colors are Strawberry Slush, Early Espresso and Old Olive to stamping and just a bit of Coastal Cabana Card Stock.
My second project uses the Bokeh technique and I used Real Red and Coastal Cabana. The Stamp Set is Hello Life. I used the Coastal Cabana Blendabilities to color the Basic Rhinestones which I added to the card for just a bit of bling. Don't tell my husband but this is his Valentine's Day card. He doesn't check my blog so no worries with him seeing it.

As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog! We are always excited to hear from our followers! February Color Challenge

Hello and welcome to our February Color Challenge. I just had to try out a new technique this week with the colors in the challenge. This card came together quick with the colors listed below, sponges, the Hello You Thinlits Dies and some In Color Sequins. The technique is called Bokeh and is actually a photography term. You have seen the pictures when things are out of focus but in a way that makes the picture more pleasing? Well that is Bokeh and you can do the same type of technique with just a bit of sponging and a few circle templates. I can't wait to teach this technique to the ladies that I stamp with locally. Have a great day and Thanks for stopping by, Tonya
