We like to move it!

Good morning! What a busy week we have had at our house. Between summer running, Boy Scout Camp and baseball, I feel like it has been forever since I stamped. I hope to put the rubber to the ink today but we have an evening activity again tonight so we will see how much time I find in the day. ;-) Today's card is another Neverending Card that my Daughter made for a friends birthday. The birthday party was last month but I forgot to share the card with you. The base is Tempting Turquoise and it there is Play Date Designer Series Paper through out the card. The other colors she used were all pulled from the Designer Series Paper and include Whisper White, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Real Red and Old Olive. She used a couple of stamp sets including Teeny Tiny Wishes, Circle Circus, and Flight of the Butterfly. There are quite a few punches used including the Butterfly Punch, Word Window and Modern Label Punches. If you have any questions about the card please let me know. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Club orders will be arriving today and Monday I can start giving out the new Catalog to those of you that have contact me. I still have copies available and will be ordering another case soon so please let me know if you will be needing a catalog. As always thank you for stopping by and have a great day, Tonya

Garden Butterfly

Good morning! Thank you to all of you that came to my Cards That Move Class on Friday. I enjoyed seeing you all and will be emailing out dimensions for the cards later today. I hope that you had a great weekend. Ours was busy with Kaylee leaving on Mission Trip and baseball for all three of my boys over the weekend too. I didn't stamp this weekend but I do still have some cards to share from the class and others that Kaylee and I have been working on. Today's card is a spinner card which means the butterfly moves across the card front and spins or flutters by. The card is pretty simple so I will just give you supplies and if you have any questions please let me know. Supplies: Whisper White Card Stock, Peach Parfait Card Stock, Sunny Garden Designer Series Paper (retiring), Word Window Punch, Butterfly Punch, 1/4" Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon, Flight of the Butterly Stamp Set, Poppy Parade and Peach Parfait Classic Ink Pads, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Big Shot and the Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. We stamped the inside also but I forgot to get a picture of it. :( I am hoping to get lots of stamping done today with some of the retiring stamp sets. Just a reminder that the accessories that are retiring are while supplies last and there are some that are all ready sold out. Please do not delay on placing your orders for the accessories.
Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy your Monday! Tonya

Mother's Day Delight!

Today we once again have a guest blogger. I really should make her a regular poster as she has been busy with lots of fun projects but I will save that for another day. Today I wanted to take a moment to share my Mother's Day card that my wonderful daughter made for me. She really enjoys stamping and paper crafts of all kinds and I hope will someday (3 years and 2 1/2 months) will be a member of my downline. ;) She used Cameo Coral Card Stock, Bashful Blue Card Stock and Whisper White Card Stock. The stamp sets are Flight of the Butterfly and All Holidays and the ink colors are Apricot Appeal, Cameo Coral, Bashful Blue and Basic Gray Classic Stamp Pads. She even used a bit of Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon to finish off the card. Nothing to challenging about the layout just a couple of layers but the butterflies really make a nice background. Sort of like your very own DSP. Well, we have a busy weekend and week ahead of us. I have two graduation in our house this week. Eighth Grade and Kindergarten, one is my first and one is my last. :( My babies are growing up to quickly it would seem. I hope you have a great day and stop by again. I did complete a big project last night but I haven't had a chance to take a picture yet, hopefully today. It is a little unusual when it comes to crafting. Stay tuned for that one, Tonya

Bold and Bright Flight of the Butterfly

Good morning, busy day for me but I did want to share this card that I made yesterday in preparation for a birthday party I have this week. The birthday girl loves the Bright and Bold colors so I pulled out some of the soon to be retiring colors for this card. I used Pixie Pink, Pink Passion, Summer Sun and Only Orange for the ink colors. The base of the card is Only Orange and I have added a layer of Summer Sun Card Stock across the bottom of the card. I used the Eyelet Border Punch on the Summer Sun layer and it is hard to see in this picture but on the lower right corner I have stamped Friend to Friend from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set in Summer Sun Classic Ink. I used the Flight of the Butterfly Stamp Set to stamp the main focal image on Whisper White Card Stock in the various ink colors then added a layer of Pink Passion Card Stock behind for a mat. I really love how fun and cheerful this card looks. It just makes me happy to see it and I know that who every I send it to will have their day brightened as well. These are just a few of the retiring colors I will try and focus on those a few times a week so you can decide if you need to stock up on card stock and reinkers before they retire on June 30. Thank you for stopping by today and be sure and came back again. I have more projects to share both sewing and stamping. Have a great day, Tonya

Birthday Card for Troops!

Good afternoon, as I told you yesterday, I have been busy designing cards for our Student Council to make on Saturday Oct. 3. If you would like to help in any way they would appreciate it.
Today's card features one of my favorite Designer Series Papers in the catalog.
Cottage Wall (115671) is a fun Designer Series Paper that combines Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Orchid Opulence. The base of the card is Orchid Opulence Card Stock (100969) and I have used the Flight Of the Butterfly Stamp Set (111564) to stamp small butterfly's and flowers on the top portion of the card. The bottom of the card is a layer of the Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper with the top edge Scalloped with the Scallop Edge Punch (112091). I added a small strip of Rich Razzleberry Card Stock (115316) to add a little extra detail to the card without adding a lot of dimension. The main image is three stamps all from the Flight of the Butterfly Stamp Set and were stamped in Old Olive (102272), Orchid Opulence (101859) and Rich Razzleberry (115658) Classic Ink. I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to help get the stamps all lined up like I wanted them. I then added a layer of Old Olive Card Stock (100702) and used Dimensionals to attach it to the card. Tommorow I will share with you another card that we will be making on Saturday. Until then thank you for stopping by, Tonya

Monday Morning time to share!

Good morning, I hope you all had a great weekend. The weather was a little on the chilly side but that didn't stop our kids from being out and having activities. I didn't stamp the entire weekend but I do have a gift cardholder to share from Friday. My middle DS invited us to a 1st and 2nd Grade Tea at his school. We had a lot of fun at the tea and both class had a presentation for us. 1st grade sang for us and if you get a chance ask my son about the Rooster song. It is really cute. The class decided to give their wonderful teacher a gift card to thank her for the wonderful year. Enter the card for today. I volunteered to make a card for the occasion. This card is similar to the Graduation card we did at club this week. I started with a piece of Pink Pirouette Textured Card Stock (remember this is on special the rest of this month) and cut it to 6 1/2 x 9". I will take some pictures and show you how I made the gift card portion inside and post later. This is slightly larger than our club card but I wanted to make sure I had plenty of room for 15 kids to sign. I used the Flight of the Butterfly Stamp Set and stamped the sentiments in Chocolate Chip Classic Ink using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. I used the Bella Birds Designer Paper(also included in the special), Big Shot and Stampin'Up! Beautiful Butterflies Die to cut out the butterfly for the top of the card. I added three of the smallest Rhinestone Crystals that I removed from the Rhinestone Brads to make the body of the butterfly. The bottom piece of designer paper is scalloped on the top with the Scallop Border Punch and the whole card is tied shut with the Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon. Not a difficult card to make and it fits into our Small Open-End Envelopes. The Buy Three get one Free Special will be ending on May 31.Our Designer Series Papers are so great, they are a true 12x12" size perfect for scrapbooking or cardmaking and are double sided so you get double the options. So if you would like to still place an order contact me. As always thank you for stopping by today and have a great day, Tonya
