Tuesday and My Digital Studio Time

Good morning it is Tuesday and there are new Digital Downloads for My Digital Studio. If you haven't tried out my Digital Studio what are you waiting for? It is such a fun program and makes Scrapbooking a breeze. To view today's downloads you can head over to here. I thought I would share a super quick page I completed with My Digital Studio in a matter of just minutes. I take a lot of pictures at my daughter's Cross Country Meets and not just of her but the whole team so I thought I would put together a page of just one race. This is the Varsity Girls race and with the predone layout I was able to just plug in pictures add a few background and mat colors and this page is finished. I could do one of these for every race that day and add a little journalling and be done or I could add ribbon, stamps and all the extras. I can even do a whole season in one book and have it professionally printed so that my daughter will have it to look back on years from now. Let me know if you have any questions or if I can help you with My Digital Studio in anyway. Well, that's it for today. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, Tonya

12x12 Birthday Design

Hello, well the sun is shining so I took pictures of the projects that I have been working on so that I can share them with you. Today's post is the continuation of the 6x6 Scrapbook page that we made for club this week. There are so many options when it comes to scrapbooking but 12x12 is a very common size and one that I use when I find time to scrapbook. To make this page I continued with the color theme of Brocade Blue, Crushed Curry and Real Red. The 12x12 is Brocade Blue and then all color blocks will be for pictures which I will add later. I did a Whisper White Journal Box below the 6x6 page and added a few stars from the July Fourth Stamp Set. It may be hard to see but I used Versamark and randomly added stars to the background for extra interest. The Photo Punch comes in handy for adding a little extra something to the corner of your photos and the Brocade Blue layer is texturized with the new Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Square Lattice. The page is now complete. Well, that is it for the day, I am going to try and get a few new projects started. Lots of ideas and so little time. I hope you come back again and leave me a comment and let me know that you were here. Thanks, Tonya

Greenhouse Garden 20% Off

Good morning, this is going to be a quick post as I need to be at school shortly. In my last post I mentioned that I had a few ideas for projects and this is one of them. The stamp set I used is Greenhouse Garden and it is on sale until Friday for just $20.76. I have been looking at this set since I saw it in the current catalog but waited until this month to purchase it. I just couldn't pass up 20% off. This is a 6 x 6 scrapbook page, all I need to add is a picture and a little journaling and this page is done. I decided to use four of the retiring colors and I love the bold look of the black with the colors. So my list of supplies are:
Greenhouse Garden Stamp Set, Bermuda Bay Card Stock, Bermuda Bay Classic Stamp Pad, Pixie Pink Card Stock, Pixie Pink Classic Stamp Pad, Summer Sun Classic Stamp Pad, Orchid Opulence Classic Stamp Pad, Basic Black 5/8" Satin Ribbon, Whisper White Card Stock, Curly Label Punch, Stampin' Up! Movers and Shapers Curly Label Big Shot Die, SNAIL and Stampin' Dimensionals. If you would like to order this stamp set before the sale ends you can either email me your order (I will place an order on Friday for anyone interested) or you can order online. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Spring Pages

Good morning, I had a workshop last night we did a card and 2 12x12 Scrapbook pages. Now I usually don't have scrapbook pages to share so this is a little different for me. We wanted the layout to be Springing and Bright so I while looking at the catalog I felt inspired to use the colors from the Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' Kit. I love the Pink Passion, Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive together. I kept the layout fairly simple so that the pictures would be the main focal point. The bases are 12 x12 Tempting Turquoise Card Stock. I then cut a 12 x 12 piece of Pumpkin Pie Card Stock into two pieces one 5" the other 7 " these were used with the Designer Series paper from the Sunny Days Simply Scrappin Kit to make the center of the pages. We used the Enjoy Every Moment Stamp Set to stamp the title and the journal circle with Tempting Turquoise Classic Ink Pad. The circles were cut out with the Circle Scissors Plus. I also used the Big Shot and the Clear Scallop Square Die to but out the Pink Passion Rectangle on the right side of page two. Along the bottom of page two I added lots of ribbon for a little extra interest. The ribbon includes 1/4" Whisper white grosgrain, 1/4" Tempting Turquoise Grosgrain, 1/4" Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain, 5/8" Old Olive Grosgrain, 1/2" Striped Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain, and 1/2" Striped Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon. The white areas are where the pictures will go but those are just suggested sizes as you can add whatever pictures you have to the page. I think this layout will work for spring pictures as well as birthday pictures. If you are local and would like to make these pages contact me as I have a few kits leftover from the workshop. I will share the card we made last night tomorrow which I also have a few leftover kits. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you came back soon, Tonya

Scrappin' Halloween

Hello! Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Yesterday I mentioned some Scrapbook pages that we had made the night before well today I am going to share those with you.
I will be the first to admit that I am way behind on my scrapbooking. I started stamping with the intentions to use it as a way to complete more scrapbook pages but also to have the color coordination that I really found lacking in other products, but after discovering the world of card making and Digital Photography I have found that I print less pictures. I would however love to change that and after making these two pages am eager to get some new Halloween pictures of my kiddos to finish this pages. So enough rambling from me and on to the pages. Both have similar layouts and start with 12x12 Perfect Plum Card Stock (107084). I love the fact that you can buy any of our 48 colors in 12 x 12 Card Stock! I used Sponge Daubers (102892) and sponged the edges of the Perfect Plum Card Stock with Perfect Plum Classic Ink (101437). Then I added a Pumpkin Pie Card Stock (107100) layer cut 6x12". On the Pumpkin Pie I used Versamark and stamped the bubbles from Halloween Hoot Stamp Set (111582). Halloween Hoot was the only stamp set used while making these pages. On both pages I added a 1"x 12" strip of Cast-a-Spell Designer Series Paper (115677). On the top page I also added 1/4" Black Grosgrain Ribbon (109027). Trick or Treat was cut out with the Big Shot and the Stampin' Up! Timeless Type Sizzlits Dies (115951). Having the Big Shot and a Alphabet set to use with it makes cutting out your titles so easy and you never have to worry about running out of a letter and with three J names at our house that is a big benefit! I added photo mats of various sizes in Old Olive Card Stock (100702). On the first page I cut out a circle with the Circle Scissor Plus (112530) and stamped the witch, sign and sentiment all with the Stamp-a-ma-jig (101049). They were colored with the Stampin' Write Markers in Basic Black (100082), Perfect Plum (100035), Old Olive (100079), Pumpkin Pie (105115), and Chocolate Chip (100071). On the second page I stamped with frog and cauldron with Stampin' Write Markers and cut them out and added them to the page with Stampin' Dimensionals. On the second page I also added a Whisper White Top Note for journalling. Both the circle and the top note were sponged with Perfect Plum Classic Ink. I added some Photo Corner (109042) Accents in Basic Black Card Stock (102851) and the pages are ready for pictures. Now if my kids Halloween costumes were ready for them.
Don't forget that time is running out to take advantage of the Deal of the Week Specials for Week #2. If you have a Big Shot these are great deals on some wonderful dies and Embosslit Die. All the items to make this and all my projects can be purchased through my website or by just giving me a call. I would love to hear from you. Have a great weekend, Tonya
