Christmas Keepsake Ornament

Good morning, well I have been trying to stamp but just haven't been completing many cards this week. Lots of ideas but thus far they are just pictures on paper. Instead I thought I would share another ornament made with the Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies and the Be a Good Cheer Designer Series Paper. I also added the Cherry Faceted Designer Series Button and a Large Pearl Basic Jewel. The Rosette in the middle is made with the Simple Scored Scoring Tool and the Scallop Trim Border Punch. To add just a bit of glimmer and sparkle I spritzed it with Frost White Shimmer Paint mixed with Rubbing Alcohol. We will be making an ornament like this in my upcoming Ornament Class in November. Tags for Christmas

Good evening, sorry for the delay in getting a new project up. I can't believe how busy this week has been. Tonight I want to share with you the tags we made this week at club. They are made with the Peek-a-Boo Die in the Holiday Mini and the Tags Til Christmas Stamp Set. We used Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Always Artichoke and Whisper White for our tags. They all have either Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Whisper White Baker's Twine to tie them to your packages. The Do not Open til Christmas as a bell added. Snowman Gift Bag

Happy Friday! I am so looking forward to the weekend! It is going to be a busy one. My kids and I are taking part in our Church Annual Living Nativity both tonight and tomorrow. It is a ten scene drive thru that will involve lots of people and live animals too. The kids are excited and so am I!
Today I have a quick and easy gift bag to share with you. I am always in need of gift bags and love when I can make them myself. This one uses a brown paper lunch sack. I punched a hole in the top for a handle with the Wide Oval Punch then stamped snowflakes across the bag with Whisper White Craft Ink and the Serene Snowflake Stamp Set. I added Whisper White Card Stock along the bottom for snow but first I tore the top edge and added Mica Flakes with Tombow Multipurpose glue. It really holds the Mica Flakes in place. To make the snowman and present I used punches. The present is made with the 1" Square Punch and the Blossom Bouquet Triple Lyaer Punch. The Snowman is made with the 1 3/4", 1 3/8" and 1" Circle Punchs, 1" Square Punch, Word Window Punch, Snowflake Punch and the Bird Builder Punch. I added the buttons, eyes and mouth with the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. My snowman looked a little cold so I added a scarf made with the Marina Mist 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon. Now I just need a gift to add inside. I must admit I have not done any shopping this year and I really need to get busy before I can't find what I need.

All Things Stampin'Up! All Holiday Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to the All Things Stampin'Up! All Things Holiday! I am so excited to share today's project with you. I made a tic-tac-toe board for Christmas. I got the idea from one that my family had growing up. Ours was Halloween and made just out of felt but we really enjoyed playing it. When I received the Stocking Die Accents I decided they would be the perfect size. I started with a board that was made out of Candy Cane Christmas Designer Fabric. I used two layers with batting between. I used a pink felt and the Tasteful Trim Die to make the board squares. I sewed the felt scallops on with my sewing machine.

The ornaments and trees were also cut out of felt. I glued two layers together with the Tombow Multipurpose Glue so they were a little strudier, then decorate them with more felt accents made with the Tasteful Trim Die and Dazzling Details. There is a close up below and of course you can add more accents if you want but for me I thought I would keep them simple.
Then because I wanted it all to be easy to store I added ribbon to the back and I am able to roll it all up and all the pieces stay inside ready for the next round of tic-tac-toe.
I had the chance to make a card that my oldest son and I had sketched out the other day so I wanted to share it with you today too! He is inspired by return address labels that we received from our Insurance Agent and we thought I matching card would be perfect. The supplies I used are Real Red Card Stock and Classic Ink Pad, Whisper White, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz, and Garden Green Card Stock, Serene Snowflake and Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Sets, Big Shot, Scallop Oval Frame, Snow Burst Textured Embossing Folder, Modern Label Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Circle, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Owl Builder Punch, and Blossom Petals Builder. Stocking Placemat

Good afternoon, I mentioned a while a go that I had a couple of sewing projects that I have been working on well today I am going to share the Christmas Placemat that I made a few weeks ago. The placemat is super easy to make and you can use the stocking for either a napkin or silverware. I used a prequilted Red fabric that I found at one of our local fabric stores and then used the Candy Cane Christmas Fabric to make the stocking and the edging. I used the smallest Scallop Square Die and the new Holiday Stocking die to cut the fabric. I did use an interfacing on the stocking to give it a little more durablity and I used a blanket stitch around the stocking except the top to attach it to the placemat. I hope you are see that better in the close up picture below. I am going to make a few more so that I have a set to either use in our home or to give as a gift. The stocking also can be used on felt to make a cute gift card holder or to put a treat for

a child in. I will be using this die a lot this year I have a feeling.

Christmas Box

Good afternoon, it is a beautiful day out today which makes it so much easier to take pictures of new projects. Today I have a project that I received from Stampin'UP! for having a new recruit join my team during July. My new team member also received one as did a few of my other team members who had new members join their team. So this Christmas box uses some new products that won't be available until Septemeber 1 but that is of course right around the corner so I decided to go ahead and share. The stamp set is the new Pines & Poinsettias Set and I am sure that you will be seeing more Christmas projects with it very soon and through out the season. There is also the new Holly Berry Designer Series Paper, Fabric and buttons. It maybe hard to see in the picture but there is Champagne Fine Galaxy Stampin' Glitter all over the box to add extra shimmer. It may be hard to see in the picture but the sides have Basic Pearls added around the base on the Wild Wasabi Card Stock. This is one of the more details projects that I have done recently but I really love how it turned out and can't wait to display it during Christmas. :)

Gift Card Holder

Good morning, now that it is the first of December I am in Christmas planning, shopping and decorating mode. I have started some of each but now I feel like time is really slipping by and we have a busy month of activities ahead of us. This weekend was my Holiday Gift Giving Open House and one of the projects we made was this gift card holder. There have been several of this type of card on the internet but I had never saw dimensions so I just started playing around with the gift card and a half a sheet of card stock until I got the size that worked for me. If you knew how many sheets of card stock I ruined just by not getting the correct measurements you would probably be shocked. Really it was only a couple. ;) The outside is decorated with the Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper and the Word Play Stamp Set. The image is stamped with Jet Black Stazon and we watercolored the ornament with the Aquapainter, Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Classic Ink. I decided to make the sentiment look like a package so the Very Vanilla Card Stock was layered with the Cherry Cobbler Card Stock and a 1/8" Old Olive Taffeta Bow was added to the top of the package. The inside is pretty simple in that there is just a layer of Very Vanilla Card Stock added so you have a place to write your message. I used the 1" Circle Punch and the Word Window Punch to make the slot for the gift card. If you would like measurements let me know and I will add those later.

Christmas Goodie Jar

Good morning it is Monday! I have a quick post for you of a 3D project that I made last night. It all started with a pasta jar from a pasta dinner that we hosted for the cross country team. I really liked the size and shape of the jar. It isn't a traditional round jar but is squared on the edges. The lid was gold so I spray painted it white and then stared decorating the jar. The Designer Series Paper is Candy Cane and the strip is just perfect for the jar. I added some 2way glue and Dazzling Diamonds to the top of each package and added a strip of Real Red Card Stock to the top and bottom that was punched out with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch. I attached the band to the jar with Sticky Strip and then made a tag. I used the new A Cute Christmas Stamp Set and stamped with Real Red Classic Ink. I used the new Decorative Label Punch to punch out my tag and used two more of the labels to layer behind my Whisper White label. I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the top of the package and attached my tag to the jar with the new Clear Tinsel Trim. Right now I have the Candy Cane Big Designer Buttons in my jar but wouldn't it be perfect to fill with a cookie mix or other treat to give to a neighbor, teacher or friend.
