Catalog Case

Good morning, today I have quick card for you. I think we sometimes over look the Note cards on page 160.  They are a great price at only  $5.95 for 20 cards and envelopes. We used them the other night at club and made this simple little birthday card based on the card on page 44 of the Catalog. We used Melon Mambo, So Saffron and Gumball Green ink pads and Stampin' Write Markers. The Happy Birthday is from the Bring on the Card Stamp Set and was stamped in Basic Gray Classic Ink. We used two punches the Petite Pennants Builder and the Circle from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. We added Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the tops of the hats to add just a bit a bling. As quick as these cards are to make you could make a whole bunch in a variety of colors to have on hand for all those last minute birthday card needs.

Bring on the Birthday Final Card

Hello, well my boys had a good first day of school and are back for their second day. My youngest was tired this morning due to a late baseball practice last night so it is probably a good thing they have an early out again today. Yesterday was my first Bring on the Birthday Cards Class and I enjoyed it so much. I only had one stamper but she is new to stamping and sometimes one on one is great. Tonight I have a full group and it will be just as much fun. The ladies coming tonight have all stamped before so the class should move right along. Today I have the final Birthday Card. It uses a couple of different Designer Series Paper including Nursery Nest and Just Add Cake. The stamp set is once again Bring on the Cake and I have stamped the image directly on the Designer Series Paper with the Basic Gray Classic Stampin' Pad before coloring the Birthday with Marina Mist, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz and Perfect Plum Classic Stampin' Pads and a Blender Pen. I added just a touch of Marina Mist 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon on the edge of the Designer Series Paper. I used both the Petite Pennants Builder Punch and the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch on the card as well as the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder. Such a fun card to make and of course receive. Are you wishing you would have attend this class and you didn't have the time well, I have a special deal for you. Kaylee's Big Day

Good afternoon! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had a busy and wonderful one that included a family reunion and a Birthday party for my daughter. She turned 16 yesterday. I can't believe that it has been 16 years since I first became a mother and was blessed with her as my only daughter. She is growing up into an amazing young lady. So for quite some time she has wanted a Royal Blue "Bug" for her first car and a couple of weeks ago we found one for her and even though she has know about it I thought it would be fun to incorporate one into her card design too. After a quick google search I found one and with a few modifcations I was set. After I had the car created I had to made the card too and decided to use the Pennant Parade Stamp Set and make a background with colors that I had the birthday girl pick out. Now she had no idea when I asked for a color combo that it was for her card as I had told her it was for an upcoming class, sneaky right. ;) The colors are Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, and Pacific Point. The 16 is cut with the Timeless Type Sizzlits Dies and the Big Shot. I hand cut the cloud and the grass for the front.



I wanted the inside to be special too so I added a Pennant Banner across it and added the Early Espresso color to the mix. Each of the Pennants if a different stamp from the Pennant Parade Stamp Set and are punched out with the Petite Pennants Builder. They are attached with Whisper White Baker's Twine and Stampin' Dimensionals. The sentiment is from the Bring on the Cake Stamp Set. I love this set and have used it a lot since I received it. I didn't get a picture of the inside before I gave it to her so blurred out that part so that is why the bottom look a little odd.

Pennant Parade Christmas

Good afternoon, this week is flying by and I have a lot on my to do list so I am going to keep this short. Today's card is such a fun and easy one to make and we will be making it tomorrow night at my Christmas In July Card Class. I haven't started cutting yet so if you let me know by tonight I can still add you to the class. The base is Wild Wasabi and the other colors I used were Poppy Parade and Early Espresso. The stamp set is Pennant Parade which is included in the July $99 Special Kit. Contact me if you would like to purchase your kit and get all the wonderful supplies that go with it. Plus I have lots of ideas for the stamp sets that are in the kit that will get you off and stamping. I used Stampin Write Markers for the tree bases and then used the Classic Ink pad to stamp the tree and punch them out with the new Petite Pennants Builder Punch. I also used the cut little Jewelry Tag punch for the merry that is hanging from the Early Espresso Bakers Twine. For Big Shot items I used the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder and the Scallop Square Duo. This is another card that would be great to mass produce even if you didn't have the Big Shot as the Poppy Parade Card Stock could be left square and not scalloped and the card would be just as cute. Pennant Parade

Good morning, sorry for not posting last night I had every intention of doing so after club but I some how got busy doing other things and forgot. Today's card is one that we made at club this week and uses a fun new stamp set that I recommend everyone should get ;) and of course you need to coordinating punch. This card is pretty simple to make and would be a fun one to make in lots of different colors just to have on hand for those birthday's that pop up and you forgot a card. For this card we used Crumb Cake Card Stock for the base and Baja Breeze, Rich Razzleberry, and Island Indigo which is one of the new In Colors for 2011-2012. Isn't it pretty. I love the new ruffled ribbon in Island Indigo and need to figure out a project just for the ribbon. So the other supplies are Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Whisper White Baker's Twine, 1" Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Petite Pennants Builder Punch, 1/16" Circle Punch, Versamark, Classic Ink Pads in the three colors and the Pennant Parade Stamp Set. Oh, I almost forgot that I added Rhinestones to the center of the circles too, just for a little bling. We will be using this stamp set at my upcoming Christmas In July Class which is next Friday. Pennant Parade is such a verstile stamp set take a look and then give me a call or order your set today.
