Create a Flower

Today's Challenge was to create a flower. In our most recent Stampin' Success Magazine they had beautiful flowers on the front cover made with the Fringe Scissors and various Big Shot dies and I knew I wanted to give one a try. I used Coffee Filters for the flower and used reinkers to color them. The center of the flower was made with the Fringe Scissors but the other layers were made with the Floral Framelits. I think this was the first time I have used them and I am not sure why I waited. I was going to make a card but after finishing my flower I decided it was just to big and instead added it to the top of a box to give as a gift. I added a bit of the Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper below the flower to make it stand out a bit more. I hope you check out all the other flowers that the design team has created and Thank you for stopping by today! Tonya

I love this! Great idea to create the flower as a package topper!

What a beautiful way to top a small gift box! I've been itching to make some of those flowers too!
