Happy Blendabilties

For my Blendabilties post today I used the Mingle All the Way Stamp Set. I used the Blendablities to color in the image and the pearls that I added to it. Blendablities are great for shading but they are also nice to add just a slight color variance when you are coloring. I used the various shades to add just a bit of variety to the image without worrying about matching. The colors are Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Early Espresso. I also used the new Filigree Frame Textured Impressions Folder and Gold Bakers Twine. The card is simple in layout but if you are making a large amount of these for your family card you might want them to be a bit easier. Friday Favorites~Thankful

It is Friday Favorites Day over on the SSINKspiration Blog and one of the sets I knew I was going to have to buy is this set.. Seasonally Scattered Stamp Set. I love the look of the three stamps and decided to use the Thanks stamp first. I used the Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack. This stack is definitely not just for Christmas, I love how the paper reminds me of a nice comfy sweater which is perfect for a fall day. I used Work of Art to make the color accents behind the heat embossed Thanks. It really helps make it pop and adds just the right amount of color. By adding just a bit of sponging the colors seem a bit more muted and the card is ready to send. Friday Framelits

Friday Framelits is a great time to show case from some of our favorite framelits and today I have two to share with you. The Project Life Cards & Labels Set was used to make the tag and then the leaves are from the Flower Flair Framelit Set.  I used the new Gift Box Punch Board to make the box. This new punch board is easy to use and makes several sizes of boxes. I sponged polka dots using the Dots & Stripes Decorative Masks. Add a bit of ribbon and the box is ready for treats. Who Loves a Punch Bundle?

Hello and welcome, I am sharing a birthday card for a special girl and I hope she doesn't see it before it arrives. The Design Team is featuring Punch Bundles and mine is the Label Love Stamp Set and Artisan Label Set. I also used Island Indigo Card Stock, Hello Honey Ink, Square Framelits, and the new Star Embossing Folder, Basic Black, Whisper White and Basic Gray Card Stock were also used on the card. Friday Favorites

We have had multiple weddings this summer and my go to favorite embossing folder is the new Lovely Lace Textured Impressions Embossing folder. I have used it on almost every wedding card I have made since I bought it. I made this card for my cousin and his new bride and the colors are based off of their wedding invite. I used the blendabilities to color the ribbon. I used Coastal Cabana, Silver Card Stock, Whisper White and Night of Navy. I added just a few Basic Rhinestones to add just a bit of bling. Simple and elegant just like their wedding invite.

Happy Anniversary!

Hello and welcome! It doesn't seem like a year ago we started the SSINKspiration Blog but it has been and to celebrate we are all sharing cards today. I decided to share a card and a cork board that I decorated to a classroom or a dorm room. Yesterday was my daughter's birthday so the card was for her and as she heads off to college this next week the cork board might just go with her too. I do have a few other college ideas though for her and I will share those next week. Supplies are: Smokey Slate Card Stock, Strawberry Slush Card Stock, Perfect Plum Ink Pad, Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad, Whisper White Card Stock, Dots and Stripes Decorative Mask, Flower Patch Stamp Set and Smokey Slate Ink Pad.
