Stampin' Stylin' December Gift Ideas

Thank you so much for joining us for the December Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop!  This month our projects focus on quick and easy gift ideas for the holidays. As we enter the month of December, we find that the Christmas holidays are fast approaching. From decorating our homes to holiday baking, we realize that shopping days are running low. That's why we want to share quick and easy gift ideas that anyone can create in time for that special someone!

As you hop along, you will see that many of our design team members are giving away some great blog candy this month. Leave a comment for each project and you will automatically be entered in to win!  Winners will be announced Monday, December 16th on our individual blogs, so don't forget to leave us those comments! We love to hear from our readers!

You should have just left stop number 6 on the Stylin’ Stampin’ Squad  blog hop – Kim at Stamping with Kim. If so, you are in the  right spot. If a link doesn’t work or you get off track, you will find  the full blog hop lineup below.
I am so glad you joined me today! This year is seems many people are giving gift cards and while I try not to I do on Occasion do the same so I thought for my first Gift idea I would share a Gift Card Holder card made with the Circle Thinlit Framelit Die, Circle Framelits and the Holiday Ornaments Framelits. The stamp sets are Petite Pairs and Ornament Keepakes. The colors are pulled straight from the Winter Frost Designer Series Paper Stack and are Smoky Slate, Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana. I also used Glitter Paper to add sparkle and the Silver 1/8" Ribbon. Add just a few more snowflakes with the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder and a few Candy Dots and this card is ready to send.

The extra flap is a great way to add the pocket on the inside and would be great to add a family picture or a note. Of course gift giving would be complete without a bag so for my second project I have made a bag. I found this simple Crumb Cake bag at a local store for 2 for $1 and couldn't resist adding a bit more to it. I used the Ornament Framelit to cut out a stencil and added the ornaments along the bottom with sponge and Old Olive Ink. I used the Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack and Cherry cobbler and Chocolate chip Card Stock to create the flags. I used the Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions Folder and the Pretty Print Textured Impressions folder. The merry is cut from the Expressions Thinlits Dies from Old Olive Card Stock.

Now how about something to go in the bag? Leave me a comment and you have a chance to win the following items. The Merry Moments Simply Scrappin' Kit, Old Olive Taffeta ribbon and three Merry cut outs to in coordinating colors to use on your Scrapbook pages. I will announce a winner on Monday. Thanks for stopping by and be sure and head over to Diana's blog to see the great projects she has to share. Have a great day, Tonya
