Friday Favorites

Today is Friday Favorites and mine for this week is the Blendabilties. I have been using them a lot this week for my Christmas cards so it just seemed logical to share them with you. I need a few thank you cards for some of the members of our church who have been so generous and given us gifts over the Christmas season so I created this card to give. The Swallowtail Butterfly is great for coloring and I used the Calypso Coral Blendabilites and added a simple sentiment. I will add a thank you to the inside and a short note and the cards will be ready to give. Simple yet nice in this busy time of year. I hope you enjoy and will check out Kim's card too. Thanks! My first project is a card that uses the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies. I used Pool Party Card Stock with Lost Lagoon for the Brrr. The ink colors are the same and I stamped with the Endless Wishes Stamp Set. I added the In Color Sequins, Basic Rhinestones and Frosted Sequins to add a bit more sparkle to this card and if you are by chance the type of person who doesn't always get your Christmas Cards out on time you can send this in January and everyone will be thrilled to get it. 

My second project is this cute tag but it has a bit of a twist in that there is a Gift Card holder on the back. You can hang it on your tree or attach it to a gift for a little extra something. I used the Deco Label and Circle Framelits as well as the Bitty Banner Framelit Set. The Stamp Set is Festival of Trees and the Designer Series Paper is none other than the Motley Monsters. I added a Candy Dots Base Brad and a Basic Rhinestone to add a bit more sparkle. The Gift card Envelope was made with the Envelope Punch Board. December Color Challenge

 

Hello and welcome to the December Color Challenge. Today I used the colors to make my youngest brother a birthday card. Shh, his birthday isn't until tomorrow but I am sure he will be keeping busy today since he and his wife will be having a baby sometime today.So while he is distracted let me give you the details on the card. Colors are Cherry Cobbler, Lost Lagoon, Basic Black, Stamp Sets are: Hardwood and Perfect Pennants, I used the Banner Framelits and the Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack. Quick and Easy Christmas

Today the design team is sharing Quick and Easy cards with you and what is easier than making your own designer paper with just a few ink pads and a stamp set. For my card I used the Endless Wishes Stamp Set and the following colors. Blackberry Bliss, Silver, Whisper White and Lost Lagoon. I used the Itty Bitty Banner Framelits, the Circle Framelits and just a bit of Silver Ribbon and this card is done. This would be ready to mass produce for your Family Christmas card and since it will be time to send them out soon I might want to think about getting mine started. So Full of gratitude

Hello and welcome to our November Blog Hop the them this month is Gratitude and while I may not have a lot of time to stamp with our busy schedule I do want to show my gratitude and thanks to my family during Thanksgiving so I made this simple but fun Thanksgiving card to share with you today. I wanted to use some of the items from the Holiday Catalog and that was my focus. The colors are Tango Twist, Crushed Curry, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White.  Supplies are: Mingle All the Way Stamp Set, Fun Fall Framelits Dies, Motley Monsters Designer Series Paper, and Deco Labels Framelits. I used the Blendablities to color the button before adding it. I hope you enjoyed my card today and that even if you have a few minutes in a busy day I hope take the time to stamp and share with those you love.

Friday Favorites

Hello and welcome to my Friday Favorites post. Today my favorite item is the Festival of Trees Bundle which includes the stamp set and coordinating punch. I love it when Stampin'Up! give us a punch to go with a stamp set and this one is perfect for Christmas cards. We recently did this card for a class and it was quick and easy to put together. The colors are Real Red, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White and Baked Brown Sugar. I used just a bit of twine and some Glimmer paper. This card would be great if you have a lot of them to make and not a lot of time. Let me know what you think as I would love to hear from you. Thanks! Tonya

Christmas Card Fun

I know for some of you it is still time for Fall and Halloween Cards but the design team is already thinking about Christmas. I had a card class last month that was just for Christmas cards and this is one of the cards we did. I used a combination of two embossing powders to make the Merry extra sparkly which is from the Seasonally Scattered Stamp Set. The snowflakes are from the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies. Other supplies include: Northern Flurry Embossing Folder, Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Project Life Corner Punch, Whisper White Satin Ribbon, Pool Party Cotton Ribbon, Whisper White Bakers Twine, Basic Rhinestones, Whisper White Card Stock, and Pool Party Card Stock.
