Heat Emboss It!

Hello and welcome to my heat embossed card for the INKspiration Teams's Tuesday Technique. I decided to use the Secret Garden Stamp Set and heat embossed the flowers with Whisper White Embossing Powder and then cut them out with the Secret Garden Framelits. I used the Chalk Marker to accent the flowers and give them a Whitewashed technique look. The sentiment is from the Yippee-Skippee Stamp Set and was stamped with Jet Black Stazon and then punched out with the Large Oval Punch. I used the Square Lattice Die to emboss the Crumb Cake background. The other colors are Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry. The leaves are Wild Wasabi. Please take a moment to check out the other great embossing projects that the team has to share with you today. I am hoping to post more this week so please check back. Thanks and have a great day! Color Challenge

Hello, this is the first Monday of March which means it is time for a little color challenge. Today the team is bringing you cards made with Perfect Plum, Marina Mist, and Rose Red. I will admit this is not a color combo that I would usually put together but I love the results and think it is a fun Spring like combo that helps brighten our snowing days right now. I decided to make two cards today for the first I used a Pals Paper Art Sketch. I kept the card simple with just a bit of bling. Supplies are: Perfect Pennants Stamp Set, Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set, Perfect Plum Ink and Card Stock, Marina Mist Card Stock and Ink, Rose Red Card Stock and Ink, Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, Circle Framelits, and Elegant Butterfly Punch.

My second card is just a fun take on the colors that I decided to make while I was making the first card. I haven't used the Fringe Scissors for the first time on this card. Other supplies are the Perfect Pennants Stamp Set, Circle Framelits, Whisper white Organza Ribbon, Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, Perfect Plum Card Stock and Ink, Rose Red Card stock, and Marina Mist Card Stock.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you take a moment to check out the other ladies cards on the INKspiration Blog. I hope you have a great day! Tonya

Swap Fun with the Team!

This past month, many of the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration designers participated in an Occasions Catalog Card Swap. Instead of keeping all of these beautiful card samples to ourselves, we wanted to share them with you, too! Today's blog hop will spotlight a handful of Stampin' Up's Occasions Catalog products as each of us who participated chose a different stamp set to showcase.

As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog...and be sure to pin it, too! We are always excited to hear from our followers! You should have just left stop number 10 on the SSINK Occasions Catalog Blog Hop – Kathy P from Katrina P's Creative Corner. If so, you are in the right spot. If a link doesn’t work or you get off track, you will find the full blog hop lineup below. And, be sure to come visit us at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration where we 'inkspire' you 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year!

Hello and welcome. The stamp set I decided to use for the Swap is the Geometrical Stamp Set. I used a lot of the Kaleidoscope Suite items on this card so let me get right to the supply list. Geometrical Stamp Set, Triangle Punch which you can bundle together and save. Arrows Textured Impressions Embossing folder, Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper, Basic Black Card Stock and Jet Black Stazon, Basic Jewels, Strawberry Slush Ink, Crushed Curry Ink, Bermuda Bay Taffeta Ribbon, Banner Framelits, Bermuda Bay Card Stock, Silver Card Stock and Strawberry Slush Card Stock. You might notice that the Silver Card Stock has a bit of shine removed. I did this by sanding it lightly with our Sanding Tool after I embossed it. I love how it aged it just a bit.
I hope you enjoyed my card and will take a moment to visit the other ladies. Their cards are great and I loved getting them all. I hope we make this a regular event. Have a great weekend. We are expecting a snow storm this weekend and I am not looking forward to it.

Emboss It!

Hello and welcome to my Emboss It card day. I used both Heat Embossing and a Embossing folder on this card. I really love this color combo and the Sweet Dreams Sale-a-bration paper was the inspiration for it. I used the Petite Petals Bundle and the Flower Shop Bundle. The colors are Pistachio Pudding, Cantaloupe Crisp and Summer Starfruit with Whisper White and Crumb Cake as my neutrals. The sentiment is from the Feels Good Stamp Set and I used a combination of Pool Party Embossing Powder and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to make it extra sparkly. I added a bit of Dazzling Diamonds to the center of each flower too but I used Two Way Glue to adhere it. It might be hard to tell but I cut the center out of the front of the card and the sentiment is actually inside the card. I hope you take a moment to check out the other cards on the SSINKspiration Blog. The other ladies have a lot of fun embossed cards to share. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by, Tonya

Make a Wish

Hello, I have a quick and simple card to share with  you today. I hadn't planned to play along today with the INKspiration Design Team but I just couldn't resist. I made this card last week for Stamp Time and it is not only easy to create but you can use any colors and designer paper for a different look which makes it a great card to have. The colors are Strawberry Slush, Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay and Basic Black. The designer paper is from the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper and the stamp set is Perfect Pennants. We used the Stampin' Write Markers to ink it up and then stamped it on Whisper White Card Stock. The cute little banners are from made with the Free Banner Punch that you can pick when you purchase $50. Be sure and check out the other cards and you can pin this and all our cards to Pinterest for future use. Thanks and have a great day! Tonya

Sympathy and Prayers

Hello and welcome to a day and a new card. Those that came last week to Stamp Time got to make this card but for those that couldn't attend I thought I would share. This card is fairly simple but I think that is just what is needed for a sympathy card. The colors are Sahara Sand, Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party and Pistachio Pudding. The Stamp Sets are Best of Flowers which will soon be unavailable to purchase and the Petite Pairs Stamp Set. I used the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper which is free when you purchase $50. I used a few punches and Framelits too, like the Apothecary Accents Framelits, Oval Collection Framelits and the Circles Collections Framelits. The punches are 1 3/8" Circle Punch and the Bitty Butterfly Punch. I added a few Basic Pearls to the butterfly and this card is ready to be sent. I need to make a few more of these to have on hand as sympathy cards are nice to have on hand and not have to make when you need them. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Tonya
