Best of Snow

Now I hope I don't see any snow this month except in my stamps but it is always nice to get a start on your stamping. 3,2,1 Let's Stamp

Hello and Happy November! I can't believe how quickly the year is flying by. It will soon be Thanksgiving so I thought I would get a start on my cards with this fun challenge. We were to use 3 different Designer Series Papers, 2 Punches and 1 Stamp Set. I enjoyed the challenge and think I will use this layout and different Designer Paper for a upcoming Christmas Card class. The paper is Sweater Weather and I really love the texture the prints have. The Stamp Set is Tags 4 You and it has four sentiments that are perfect for the upcoming holidays- Christmas, Thanksgiving and Valentine's Day as well as a Halloween one. The punches are the Bracket Label Punch and the Decorative Label Punch. The other supplies are Crushed Curry Card Stock, Tangerine Tango Card Stock and Ink, Chocolate Chip Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, and Linen Thread. Chevron Ribbon Fun!

Hello! I have been absent this week due to a busy schedule but I could resist playing with our Ribbon Card Day on our SS INKspiration Blog. I decided to get creative with the Chevron Punch and the Whisper White 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and the Soft Sky 1/2" Seam Binding. After punched out two Chevron Strips I wove the ribbon through to make my pattern then adhered it to a bigger piece of Baked Brown Sugar Card Stock before adding the Soft Sky Frame. The frame was made with Square Framelits. I used a Cherry Cobbler Card Stock base and the sentiment is from the Petite Pairs Stamp Set and was stamped on Whisper White Card Stock with Cherry Cobbler Ink and punched out with the Large Oval Punch. I added Soft Suede Candy Dots to the sentiment and this square card is ready to send. Don't forget to stop by and see the other cards by all the other great designers. You won't be disappointed. Bridal Shower Invite

Glitter, glitter everywhere

Today's post is my individual post for our SS INKspiration post and I am sharing with you the Glitter Embossing Technique that Stampin'Up! recently featured. It is super easy and fun to do. All you do is mix Embossing Powder with Glitter. I used four different combos. More info can be found on our blog but I will add the combos below and please let me know if you have any questions. There are also stamp sets included on the sale that I used on a couple of the cards.
