October Fall Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop

Thank you so much for joining us for the October Stylin’ Stampin’ Squad Blog Hop! This month we are focusing on the Fall season. It’s the time of year when fireplaces start crackling with warmth and we dig out our sweaters. This month’s blog hop will showcase many of the Stampin’ Up! products that are available to make Autumn themed creations. We hope you enjoy seeing how we use the products to create our projects and feel inspired to come up with some great projects of your own.
You should have just left stop number 8 on the Stylin’ Stampin’ Squad blog hop – Stamping with Kim. If so, you are in the right spot. If a link doesn’t work or you get off track, you will find the full blog hop lineup below.
Now lets get started on my projects. I have both a card and a journal to share with you today. First the card. I love the Gently Falling Stamp Set and the since you get both the solid image and the leave outline/vein image it is a great set for a lot of techniques. For the card below I used the Rock-n-Roll Technique. Supplies are: Baked Brown Sugar Card Stock and Ink, Cherry Cobbler Card Stock and Ink, Very Vanilla Card Stock, Soft Suede Ink, Cajun Craze Ink, Crushed Curry Ink, Paper Snips, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Ovals Collection Framelits, 5/8" Victoria Crochet Trim, Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons, Stamp-a-mi-jig, Gently Falling Stamp Set, and Feel Goods Stamp Set.
For the front I used two stamp sets again the Gently Falling and then I added the sentiment which is from the Trust God Stamp Set. For additional supplies I used: Chocolate Chip Ink, Crushed Curry Ink, Soft Sky Ink, Labels Collection Framelit, Extra Large Oval Punch, Paper Snips, 5/8" Victoria Crochet Trim, Soft Sky 1/2" Seam Binding, and Neutrals Candy Dots. I have added a close up of the sentiment and leaves below.
I hope you enjoyed my projects and that you were inspired by them to stamp and create. I will now send you on your way to Diana's Blog. You can simply click the next button below and it will take you to her posts. If you like what you see here you should make sure and check out our Design Team blog SSINKspiration as many of our blog hop members are also designers and we share something new each day so you can be inspired. Thanks for hopping with us today and please let me know if you have any questions. Tonya

Now to move onto my journal. I made this to be a prayer/ thoughts journal for myself. I am finding that I really want a place to put my thoughts, prayers, thanksgivings and such on paper. Really just for me to see but maybe to share at some point. I started with a plain composition notebook found at most retail stores and used the oh so pretty Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper. I used both the Tombow Multipurpose Glue and Sticky Strip to adhere the paper to the notebook. I sanded the corners and then started adding embellishments.

Best of our Weekly Specials
That's right Stampin'Up! is doing some weekly specials. I was super excited to see this yesterday and just had to make a card to share with you that uses a few of the items that are on special. First lets start with what is on the special I have added all the sale items below. The price will only show up after you add it to your online cart. If you have any questions please let me know as I am always happy to help. The sale is only good for a week or while supplies last. I have an order ready to go in this week so if you would like any of these items just let me know. Now for the card and the supply list for it. I started with a base of Summer Starfruit and then added the Basic Black Card Stock layer that has been run through the Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I used the Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stampin' Pad to add just a bit of shimmer to the Basic Black Card Stock and help the Chevron Texture really pop. The pattern paper is from the Witches' Brew Designer Series Paper. I used the Best of Halloween Stamp Set and stamped the two images on Very Vanilla Card Stock with both the Jet Black Stazon and the Basic Black and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Markers. I cut the hat and the Pumpkin Pie Card Stock out with the Label Collection Framelits and the Trick or Treat was cut out with the Bitty Banners Framelits. To add just a bit more accent I paper pierced around the Pumpkin Pie Label with the Festive Paper Piercing Pack. This doesn't take to long to do and really makes a difference on your cards. I hope you enjoyed today's card and remember that the sale only lasts until Monday night and the bold items are on sale now. I have an order going in this week so if you would like to order any of the items just let me know. I am always happy to help. Have a great day and Thanks for stopping by, Tonya
Just wanted to add that the Petite Curly Label Punch doesn't seem to be showing up on my screen. It is also on sale.

Halloween Time
Hello and welcome to my Halloween post for the SS INKspiration Blog today. If you have stopped by from there then welcome. I hope you like what you see and will take a moment to follow my blog. If you are a regular visitor to my blog then please take a moment to check out the SS INKspiration Blog and see all the other designers projects you won't be disappointed. Now to my projects.
I have two projects for you today and them both use similar supplies. The Stamp Set is Tags 4 You and I used the Label Bracket Punch which are available in a bundle. Card stock colors vary just a bit but I used Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Basic Gray and Very Vanilla. The stamp was inked with the Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black Stampin' Write Markers. All the Designer Series Paper is from the Witches' Brew Designer Series Paper pack.
For my card I wanted some sparkle and I added it in a couple of different ways. First I added the 1 3/4" Circle Punch Glimmer Paper that was sponged with a Sponge Dauber and Basic Gray ink behind the Trick or Treat. Then for the extra sparkle I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets and cut it with the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die then I added the Orange Glitter and adhered it to my card. I added a bit of the 5/8" Crochet Trim to finish of the card. Oh, I almost forgot the Argyle Embossing Folder was used for the upper part of the card and I sponged it also with Basic Gray.
Now for my second project the Halloween Treat Container. For this one I used the Big Shot and the Mini Milk Carton Bigz L Die. I used a strip of the Witches Brew Designer Series Paper to make the band around the carton and then added the Trick or Treat. To hold the top closed I used a small binder clip that I added more Designer Series Paper to and then the Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon. The binder clip allows the carton to open completely at the top and makes the candy easier to remove and saves the container from being destroyed. I love how easy these are to make and they only take just a bit of Sticky Strip to finish them up.
Well those are my projects for today. You can pin them with the pin it button at the top of the post or leave me a comment and let me know you stopped by. I love to hear from you. Thanks for stopping by today and as always have a great day! Tonya

Another Convention Make-n-Take
Today is another quick post to share yet another Convention Make and Take. This one uses Gorgeous Grunge and the Hello, Lovely Stamp Sets. I can't believe I didn't take the time to share this one sooner. I think it is a fun mix of the two sets and uses some great colors like Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral, Old Olive and So Saffron. There is just a bit of Baker's Twine that has been dyed by dragging it across the ink pad, the Epic Day This and That Designer Washi Tape and a Very Vintage Designer Button.
Tomorrow I have a Halloween post to share with you that includes a card and a treat container so please stop by tomorrow for those and until then have a great day! Tonya
