Jolly Green Quilt

Good morning, well I braved the crowds and went shopping last night at midnight and got home around 4:30 this morning. I didn't do a lot of shopping just two stores. Most of my time was spent waiting for the next store to open. :) I did start my Christmas shopping so that is great. It isn't to late to take advantage of the great online deals that Stampin'UP! is having this week. Now for the card, I made this card a while ago when I made the other quilt card but I had forgot to show you. This card was inspired by a swap card I received at Convention from Sue Ring. I used the same stamp set and Designer Series Paper but really that is it for the similarities. After I made my card I did see a card similar to this on Josee Smuck so their are other Quilt Cards out there that might look the same. The base is Old Olive Card Stock, with a Quilt Top Note made with Jolly Holiday DSP that has been texturized with the Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I made a Scallop Circle out of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock and stamped the sentiment on Very Vanilla Card Stock with Jet Black Stazon. I used the Aquapainter and the Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Classic Ink Pad to color in the Christmas Ornament then I punched out the image with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch. I added a little Old Olive 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon and the card is complete. This is a easy card to make and would make a great Christmas card if you haven't designed your all ready. Perhaps like me. It is on my list along with decorating for Christmas and baking some cookies. Sunday if you are in the area be sure and stop by my house for my Gift Giving Open House. It's a Case

Hello and Good morning! Sorry for being so bad about posting this week. I am fighting a cold or allergies (not sure which) and I has really drained my energy and motivation. All I want to do is sleep and stamping has really taken a back seat. I did make this simple card over the weekend and thought I would share it with you today. Now this card is a case from the new Catalog and Idea Book. If you don't have a copy yet just let me know as I have a few copies left. I enjoy making quilt cards and this card is similar in that you use designer series paper and the Top Note Die but that is really were the similarities end. Razzleberry Quilt Card

Hello, hope you are having a great weekend. Ours has been busy to start but this afternoon we have been able to just kick back and watch some World Cup Soccer. Unfortunately the USA lost in a great match. We have evening activities planned but I wanted to share with you a card we made last night at my Forget Me Not Keeper Class. I have made several quilt cards before but I have never turned it made it this way. The cards we made last night all used left over pieces of Designer Series Paper that I had after I cut for the Forget Me Not Keepers and a quilt card is a great use of small pieces of Designer Paper. All you need to do is punch our 12 squares with the 1 1/4" Square Punch and SNAIL them to a piece of card stock that is 3 3/4" x 5", then run that through the Big Shot with the Top Note Die. It may be hard to see but the Quilt was Embossed with the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder. We used a little of the Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon with a knot tied in the middle and we used the Melon Mambo Classic Stamp Pad to stamp the sentiment from the Great Friend Stamp Set. The base of the card is Pumpkin Pie. Just a reminder that the Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper used on this card is retiring and currently on sale.
