April Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to our April Blog Hop. Our theme this month is Kids, whether it be birthdays, babies or decor. The first project is a card that will work great the graduation party and has the Make a Cake Stamp Set which is on sale this month and the Itty Bitty Banner Stamp Set. I paired it with the Circle Framelits and the Bitty Banners Framelits to make the card. I added just a bit of texture by using the Chevron Embossing folder. The colors are the same on all my projects which leads me to my second project.  I decided to make a decorative lantern banner for a party. I may use it for my daughters upcoming graduation party. I used the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper and the Fringe scissors to make each lantern. I cut each piece in a 4"x 6" piece scored the 4" side in half and then folded and cut with the Fringe Scissors to make the slits. I used the Tombow Multipurpose Glue. I trimmed the tops and bottoms with either Whisper White, Bermuda Bay or Strawberry Slush Card Stock that was punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I used the Twine to string it and hang the banner and it is ready to hang. I posted several photos so that you can see the details. I hope you  are INKspired to stamp and that you will be sure and check out all the other bogs. Thanks Tonya
